Overall, it was a very good book!

The end of the book left so many unanswered questions that I am looking forward to reading about in the next book. I’d like to have had all my questions answered, but the book was good.

Pretty awesome. Giving this 4 stars.

I’ll start with the negative… I feel like I got a little bored in the beginning, but then it got much better. It did start off slow, though. Beyond that, it was awesome. I love the ending. The author really uses the end to shock us into reading the next book (which hasn’t disappointed, yet). I for one will be buying the next one. It’s hard to find books that are told in such a lifelike way, but this one definitely is.

It’s a decent book.

I usually look for a hotter, more steamy connection between two people in a story, but Jack and Meagan were alright. It’s a little slow moving up until the second part of the book and Meagan was a good enough character. Unfortunately, she was very indecisive and tended to lack the intricate character development. She wasn’t entirely stagnant, but I would have liked to see more of her personality.

A consistent author.

This author has done it again. The perfect story, excellent plot twists, and beautifully budding romance. I just love that Meagan isn’t an average girl who is easily swept from her feel by Jack. I’m looking forward to reading the next book!

I love the book!

The way the story is told is amazing and their love story is so unexpected and adorable. But I feel like Lucy and the other minor characters are just plopped in there. It kind of drags when I don’t know anyone but the two main characters. They’re not completely underdeveloped, but I just feel like I can’t relate with them. Still a good book, though!

A well-written audio book, no doubt!

I would have really liked to see more about Kurtis, since he is so important to Meagan, but other than that, it was a well-written book. The narration places me inside the head of the main character and the ending was effective in holding my interest.

A great mix of romance.

Oh boy, where do I start. Overall, this is a great book. Borderline five star, but I couldn’t bring myself to give it that last star for one reason in particular. I felt like I could connect with Meagan’s character on a personal level, but her situation was too unlikely. I know it is fiction but being recruited as a rich man’s wife is a bit far-fetched. There could have been numerous alternative solutions to his problem. Other than that, it is a great mix of romance, plot-twists and humor.

I am IN LOVE with this series.

It never seems to slow down, so finding a stopping point is way too difficult. I wish the end was drawn out into a longer event to be more emotional, but it was still devastating in all the best ways. Aside from a few parts that I wish would have been drawn out and expanded on, I’m looking forward to seeing where Meagan goes next.

I was hesitating between 4 and 5 stars, but I reserve 5 stars for those books that have me shedding tears and emailing the author for more. This book, though very well-written and shocking, didn’t make me feel anything extreme. It was still very good.

It would have been better if it there is a series.

Overall a really good book that got my attention from the beginning and held onto it. I would have liked it to be a little longer, but since there is a series it isn’t such a big deal.
