Lots of sex

This is a story of a powerful southern family. Great narration. I’ve listened to the first 12 hrs not sure if I will finish. Besides a lot of profanity it’s basically the story of the sex and sexual pursuit of the grown Landry boys (Barrett and Linc). Very descriptive sexual encounters. More sexual exploits and descriptions than an actual story from my point of view.

Sorry I wasted a credit on this author.

I love the Landrys!

This was a compilation of the first 3 books in the Landry Family Series and I was addicted from the start!

SWAY:
I love reading series that center around families and I just know I’m going to love this Landry clan! Barrett Landry is a politician, and he has siblings. One is a soldier and one is a pro athlete (I can’t wait to read those books, too!) and I loved all the Landry clan!

Alison is a single mom who doesn’t do drama and isn’t interested in dating anyone in the spotlight. She’s had enough of both to last a lifetime and she doesn’t want it for her, or her son Huxley. She works hard, goes to school part time, and does her best. Then she meets Barrett Landry. Barrett is enamored with Alison in a way he never is taken by a woman. The last thing Barrett needs right now is a woman in his life. He’s in the middle of a campaign and it’s not something that is going to help, but he can’t stay away from Alison. She makes his life so much better. He can be himself with her.

I loved Alison and Barrett together. I could understand the hesitance they both had, Alison especially, and I really rooted for them to get together and work it out. I listened to the audio book of Sway and it was narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. These two make an amazing duo and feed off one another perfectly.

This book pulled me in and kept me interested all the way through. It was sweet, sexy, romantic, and I can’t wait to read more from this author and the Landry family.

SWING:
After reading the first book in this series, I couldn’t wait to get to Lincoln Landry’s book! Lincoln’s story was sweet, sexy, and heartwarming. I loved the guy. I think I liked this one even more than the first.

Lincoln is a pro-athlete (baseball) but after an injury, his future is a little unstable. When he meets Dani, he’s captivated by her. And the fact that she wants nothing to do with him at first? It makes him want her all the more. Dani has bad experiences with athletes and she isn’t about that life. As hard as she tries to stay away from Lincoln, there is just something about him she can’t resist.

Honestly, the push and pull from Dani wasn’t my favorite thing ever, but I did understand her. I loved when she met his family and you could tell she was falling just as hard for Linc as he was her. There were some rocky moments, but the ending was absolutely perfect.

Once again, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott make an amazing pair narrating this book. They did a fantastic job voicing Lincoln and Dani and you won’t hear me complaining if they voice the next one as well. I’m so excited that the next book is Grahams- I’m so intrigued! If you’re looking for a fun-loving read that’s steamy, light, and has a great family dynamic, pick up this one

SWITCH:
I've fallen in love with the Landry family. I was more than ready for Graham's book and it shocked me in the best way possible. I didn't expect buttoned up Graham to be so intense and hot. It was a nice surprise.

Graham Landry is the brother who has it all together. Mallory Sims is going to be his assistant and though she is extremely proficient at her job, she's not the type that's quite as organized as him. This makes for an interesting work dynamic. Aside from that, these two have that lust at first site thing going. They can't keep their eyes off one another, or their hands.

The attraction between these two was fire. They were a great pairing in all ways, really. Mallory complimented Graham perfectly. Even though Graham doesn't really do relationships due to being burned in the past, there is something about Mallory that draws him in. He wants to be there for her in all ways. He's sweet and protective.

Like the first two books in the series, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott have duet narration that is incredible. Their chemistry voicing this series is amazing. Out of the first three books in this series, this one was definitely the steamiest and it made for a fun listen.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm loving this series. Bring on more of the Landry family! I can't wait to get to Ford's book next!

Fantastic value- 3 full length books for 1 credit!

This audio is an amazing value- three full length books for 1 credit! These are the first three books in the Landry Family series, each book focusing on a different brother. All three are narrated duet style by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. Both narrators are fabulous and once I discovered duet style (narrators alternating reading the male and female parts in a chapter) I want every audiobook I buy to be like that- it makes the audio experience so much more authentic!
Sway is Barrett and Alison's story. Barrett is a politician and Alison is a single mom. Their chemistry is amazing and there is a certain memorable scene that everyone who has read/listened to this one will never forget!
Swing is Lincoln and Danielle's story. Lincoln is a professional baseball player (swoon!) and he meets Danielle visiting the hospital she works for. Danielle is resistant but Lincoln is adorably smitten and pursues Danielle.
Switch is Graham and Mallory's story. Graham is a business man and hires Mallory to be his new secretary. It's a super-fun office romance.
Coming in at almost 24.5 hours, this audiobook is a must-buy!

The Landry men are swoonworthy!!!!

4 stars for narration
5 stars for storyline

Sway Book 1:
I genuinely loved this book! Although I didn’t really enjoy listening to the way Wen narrated it, only due to the accent he used, it grated on my nerves!
I love how audio books bring the characters to life
Sway is about Barrett and Alison! There is turmoil, great banter, beautiful friendships and some suspense as well!
I really enjoyed the storyline and the family bonds the Landry family have! Definitely something to be treasured!

Swing Book 2:
Goodness me! The hotness factor of deep voices made this one awesome book! The southern accent doesn’t seem as pronounced or maybe its just me!! I don’t know lol.
But I really cannot get enough! What can I say about Lincoln though, the voice, his flirtatious cheeky side but also he seems to have a big heart, among other things lol!
Kai certainly brings Danielle to life well and I just loved that although she was hesitant, she couldn’t really resist Lincoln!
This story had me on tenderhooks!
I love that the male/ female characters is done with duet narration, makes it especially good to listen to! You kind of feel immersed into to the story!

Switch Book 3
This story is about the elusive and secretive Graham! Loved the narration and the way the story went from start to finish!
Hearing him speak especially to Mallory made me giggle as well as snort laugh and the banter with his brothers was too funny as well! And the steamy scenes were OFF the charts HOT!!
I loved Mallory and I thought the story was narrated really well! I really just want to be a part of the Landry family!
So looking forward to more of this series!
I think I would definitely enjoy being wrapped up in the Landry brothers! Lol

Are the narrators tone deaf?

The stories are good but the narration is annoying. The pacing and inflections are all off beat. The emphasis is placed on all the wrong words and phrases. It’s like they use random punctuation after every sixth word. The male voice sounds fake and forced as do the laughs. Neither narrator managed to line up the words with the appropriate emotions and rhythm of the story. The female makes everything sound melodramatic. So irritating...

Amazing Boxed Set!

This is an amazing boxed set! All three books are beautifully written. Each book focus on one couple (Barrett/Alison, Lincoln/Danielle, Graham/Mallory), and the Series has characters intertwined. The family spirit in this Series is wonderful. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it. This is a really great value! Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Swear, Ford's story! I love the Landry Family! #AudiobookObsession

Perfect start to a beautiful series

Sway - Alison already had one high profile relationship that ended in disaster and she was not looking for another. Her son was her only priority. That was until she met Mayor Barrett Landry and was instantly attracted to him. Although it is a political roller coaster both end up with a HEA that is completely swoon worthy. I enjoyed listening to this book and I highly recommend it. I cannot wait to listen to more in this series.

Swing - Amazingly sweet story. Lincoln was at a turning point in his career and could not figure out what he was missing. Danielle had more disappointment in her life than she could handle. When the two come together sparks fly and the chemistry is hot. I have fallen in love with the Landry family and cannot wait to listen to more.

Switch - Graham gets more than he bargained for when he hires Mallory as his executive assistant. Sparks fly right away and the chemistry between the two characters is so heartwarming to read. Control is in Grahams blood but Mallory sends him out of control. Another great audible in the Landry Family series. This story had me laughing and crying, it was such a great addition to the series that I highly recommend this book.

Steamy, sexy and charming stories! Loved them!

Audio review! Grapes...ice cubes...bacon...oh my!

Sway review:

I know I am late to the party, but I recently listened to Sway by Adriana Locke, the first book in her Landry Family series, and narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. I absolutely loved it! Barrett Landry seems like the perfect man. He is powerful, sexy, charming and almost out of reach. Alison is a single mother working to give herself and her son Huxley a better life. She is focused on their future, their small family and work. Then a chance encounter with Barrett changes everything.

Barrett in on track to be governor, including all the struggles and stress that come with it. The responsibilities can be overwhelming. Alison is careful of her choices after being burned and humiliated. Letting Barrett in may be more than she bargained for. But their chemistry is combustible and undeniable. Can Alison trust Barrett to keep her heart safe and can Barrett let another person in with so much on his shoulders?

The audio of Sway by Adriana Locke was sweet, charming and touching romance. Kai and Wen truly bought to life Barrett and Alison to life for me and am so excited to listen to the rest of the stories in the series!

Swing review:

Of the books in The Landry Family series I have listened to-date, Swing is by far my favorite. I loved Lincoln in Sway, but in Swing, he blew me away. He was sweet and charming and so very caring. He is a baseball star and he knows it. One look at Danielle Ashley and he is smitten. She is smart, sexy and a game-changer. But she wants nothing to do with Lincoln. He is exactly the type of man she avoids at all cost.

And yet their attraction was immediate and intense. I loved their witty banter and interactions so much. Does Danielle take a chance on a man who could hurt her so much or give her everything she never knew she wanted? Lincoln knows Danielle is the one for him, but how does he show her? Baseball has been his life, but sometimes things change, right?

I absolutely loved listening to Swing by Adriana Locke. I devoured this audio and could not stop listening! Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were absolutely amazing as Lincoln and Danielle. A must-read and/or listen too for sure!

Switch review:

Switch by Adriana Locke was a sweet and charming office romance with a bit of angst and a whole lot of chemistry. Mallory Sims is ready for a change and ready to put herself first. She is fun, sweet and lively. She may be late at times and not always the most organized, but she will fight for what she wants. Graham is the keeper of his family He is strong, determined and practical. He has a plan and Mallory was not part of it. But sometimes life takes a turn you were not expecting.

Once upon a time Graham gave his heart away only to have it broken. Never again. He will be the man he believes his family needs, while protecting his heart. Mallory just got out of a bad relationship, but something about Graham calls to her, but can he ever truly ever let her in? Such a fun and sexy audio with all the best feels! Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott continue to knock it out of the park and bring these stories to life!

Happy listening!

Absolutely brilliant value

Sway

I wasn’t sure I would like this book as it is based around politics but I was so wrong. It was fresh. Loved all the characters that will hopefully carry on their story’s throughout the series

Swing

Oh how I love Linc...such a feel good storyline. Made me cry in places! Great emotion, written very well.

Switch

Great read/listen. This series is building very nicely. I really can’t wait for the next one, luckily I have it!!

Loving the Landry crew!

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are an amazing dual narrator team. They have such a flow together. A sound that seems so natural, like they just fit together. I know that when I listen to them that I’m going to enjoy the narrators in the least. But with Adriana Locke as the author, it’s another positive mark. I haven’t listened to a single book with her name on the cover that I didn’t love.

I can add more book to that list because the first 3 books in the Landry series was a serious hit for me! It’s kind of interesting listening to them in a set like this because it feels like it’s one complete story but it’s actually three very different stories. Yet at the heart of it all, the Landry crew is all about their family. I can’t wait to dive into the next audiobook… I’m really excited to learn more about Ford Landry!

Great series

The first three books in the series were such great stories. I liked the different personalities of the brothers which weren't so different at all at the end. All of them stood to the same standards despite the difference in their chosen lifestyles. I liked the heroines too, they did justice to their Landry man. I loved the dynamics of the Landry family. The six siblings were always there for each other. I liked the writing style and the flow of the stories.

Kai Kannicott and Wen Ross are absolutely fabulous narrators. I love their duet narrations. I loved the different voices and accents they both used. This one was also great with the high technical quality I learned to expect from them.

This is my second listen to this series and I really enjoyed it, even second time around. What really stood out was the production where the male voices were done by the male narrator and vice versa, making it exceptionally easy to listen to. I’m going to listen to the next series again now.

Love the Landrys!

I love the Landry series, and have read them all, but listening to them just enhances the experience because Kai Kennicot and Wen Ross bring the characters alive! This Landry Family Series Part 1 contains Sway, Swing and Switch.
Sway is Alison Baker and Barrett Landry's story, Swing is Danielle Ashley and Lincoln Landry's story and Switch is Mallory Sims and Graham Landry's story. I just love the characters and their stories. All are sweet, sexy and laugh out loud funny. This is an utterly addictive series and i can't recommend it enough.

Enjoyable stories with ace narration

I really enjoyed these three stories. I liked the way that the person the next story was about had quite a mention in the book before. It's really nice to listen to three books within the same world that have the perspective of different people from the same group. One of the most interesting parts was learning what they each thought of each other and then learning what they thought of themselves. I really enjoyed it.

I love the way Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross narrated these.
