Publisher's Summary

This unabridged audio edition of The Land Between provides fresh biblical insight for people traveling through undesired transitions - foreclosure, unemployment, parents in declining health, post-graduate uncertainty, business failure - who are looking for hope, guidance, and encouragement. What if life's transitions are there to remind us that God is present before, during, and after these periods?

Help for the homeless

What a gift! A friend suggested this book to me during a time of transition. It was directive without being preachy, gave me peace about my process and ultimately encouraged me to move forward. If you are in the middle of anything, pick up this book!

Excellent Book.

This books speaks to me in such a profound way. I now know how to navigate my wilderness experiences with God's grace and mercy. I will use each time I find myself in the wilderness as an opportunity to allow the fertile ground to trust God and grow my faith in my Heavenly Father. I would recommend this book to all Christians as it is a must read!

A wonderful read

What a fantastic book. Seeing as how my life has been full of problems, illnesses, deaths, cross country moving, and unending bullying as I grew up, I can definitely relate to the example stories, both of people the author knew personally, and prominent Biblical figures as well. He does a wonderful job of taking parts of the Bible that I have to admit, I glazed over as "I've never acted like THAT" or "That has nothing to do with me", and made clear and concise connections, making what was once a very foreign story end up becoming profoundly important to me, and one I intend to keep in mind as I go forward.

The only "issue" I had was on the audio end, the quality was spotty in some parts, but I think this is likely a problem with the streaming process rather than the actual audiobook.

I'd say this is definitely a book to read/listen to, and I can only hope it helps others as it did for me.

Great read

If you're in any type of transition in life this is a great resource. He uses classic stories from the Bible and practically illustrates how it relates to life's transitions. He does get repetitive some but it helps me recall God's promises when I tend to forget.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not really.

Any additional comments?
