Publisher's Summary

A missing child draws Deputy Daniel Clark into a bizarre investigation that leaves him questioning what he just witnessed. Trained to trust his instincts and to pay close attention to detail, his rational brain is at war with what he has seen. Something very strange is happening in rural Sloan County, Missouri. Nothing in his experience has prepared him for anything like this. More disappearances only make the mystery deepen as the Sheriff tries to cover up what’s really going on. Clark enlists the aid of other deputies who, like himself, have seen things that don’t make sense.

Things that aren’t real. Or are they?

A creature from our primordial nightmares has found its hunting grounds in the rural Ozarks, along the shores of Table Rock Lake. The closer they get to finding the creature, the more pressure they get to stay out of the investigation. Pressure from the sheriff and mysterious FBI agents who know more than they will admit. Soon, Clark learns that the creature he’s been hunting has been hunting him as well. The ultimate battle of man versus beast is about to take place in the Ozarks. Can Clark defeat a beast from out of our nightmares or will the creature claim yet another victim?

Can anything stop The Lakeview Man?

Sounds like an Amateur narrator

To many skips and repeats. Although the story made a lot of sense, the narration made it Very Bland.

Enjoyed the story, not the narrator

Really enjoyed the perspectives of the characters, and the storyline.
Love the mix of police and creatures out of legends.
The book would have gotten 5 stars if the narrator would have been better.
Narrator was monotone with little distinguishable differences between characters, bad pronunciation, and no change in inflection or cadence of his speech.
I hope the series continues , with a different narrator.

Looking for more.

Very good book. Narrator voices were good. Production could have been better, lots of repeated lines and a few reading fumbles. I look forward to more from this Author and Narrator.

edit your read before you publish

great story. well read but not so well edited by the reader. not sure if that is due to a publishing or editing misunderstanding or what but if you're going to read the story for money. and you should probably not repeat sentences during the story and edit that out it's a very simple program to do that. otherwise it was well read.

An enjoyable a unique read

First and foremost, the narrator really bought this book to life for me. I am a close follower of the subject and found this to be a fun old school romp in the vein of a good 80's movie, recommended and I will be seeking out more from this author.

Another great cryptic story

Assists in perspective with relation to other stories. Well narrated despite a few repeated lines, good effort with voice tones etc.
