Loved this book, The characters were all great. The story was so great, Nola’s sister added to the story. Also Cooper and Nea sister.

cozy paranormal mystery

This is a cozy paranormal mystery set in New Orleans. There are ghosts, people with psychic abilities, and a love triangle (kind of). A spooky Madame Alexander doll also reappears throughout the story.

This was my first book by Karen White, and I enjoyed her writing. It certainly won’t be my last one. The narrator of the audiobook did a great job as well. I liked reading and listening to the story equally.

suspense & atmosphere

excellent extension of the Tradd Street series in Charleston with the Trehom family. Great storytelling

Scary as always with the suspense building from the first chapter to the last. And there are still mysteries to solve in the next book.

Another great story!

As usual, Karen White provides another mysterious story in the Nola Trenam series. Consistent fabulous narration. Reveals some answers to 'what happened' in previous books. Absolutely worth reading!

Flipping Haunted Houses in New Orleans

Nola and Beau start a new business that has them buying dilapidated houses that are sometimes haunted. The house on Esplanade is haunted by the ghost of a murdered woman and other spirits, including a dangerous one trying to hide a secret. Nola hears tiny feet running about and footprints in water. But, it’s the living she really needs to be fearful of.

I love all the characters and how they develop. I love the Southern charm! Bless your heart!

another excellent karen white book

I thought this would be the last book in this series. however, there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered and I hope the next book will be out soon. I also really wish we would see Nola and Beau finally get together!
