  • [9 min] Embracing Feedback to Grow Personally and Professionally
    May 9 2024

If there was one discussion that could transform the way you view criticism and critiques, this is it.

Because here’s the deal: feedback is a GIFT.

It's a chance to learn, grow, and become the best version of yourself and create the best possible business.

Yes. It might be uncomfortable at times. But not nearly as uncomfortable as wasting time, energy, and money doing things that don’t work or could’ve been done better/faster/smarter.

This is exactly why, in this episode, you’ll hear strategies for accepting, processing, applying and—better yet—embracing feedback so that you can experience the massive growth and success you so truly deserve.

Click play to hear all of this and…

(00:00:15) Getting better at this ONE thing can have the biggest impact on growth and relationships.

(00:01:18) What it means to notice patterns and challenges in relationships, including handling resentment and misalignment.

(00:01:43) The process of recognizing differences and making the decision to end relationships.

(00:03:49) Strategies for processing feedback effectively.

(00:04:39) The value of negative feedback and how you can start appreciating and acting on constructive criticism.

(00:08:31) The process of turning feedback into actionable steps for improvement.

  • You CAN Develop Resourcefulness in Business (Here’s How!)
    May 7 2024

Have you ever heard of the “Million Dollar Tool”?

It only costs about $2.25, but it saves chain restaurants over a million dollars in product a year. Can you guess what it is?

    It’s a rubber spatula.

Just scraping out that little bit of dressing, sauce, or whatever from one pan to transfer it into the new pan (instead of the trash) saves them SO MUCH MONEY every single year.

So, why am I telling you this?

This is a testament that being more resourceful in business (almost always) leads to being more profitable in business. The more you can do with less, the more resilient you will become and the bigger your bottom line will be. (yes and amen)

This is exactly why in this episode, you’ll learn techniques and strategies to become more resourceful in business and even how to gamify to make it something that you (and your team) enjoy.

Click play to hear all of this and…

(00:00:01) How being resourceful helped me TREMENDOUSLY with a college exam.

(00:04:26) How YOU can adopt a resourceful mindset.

(00:09:11) The technique of mind mapping and how you can use it to spark and connect ideas.

(00:16:16) One of my favorite resourceful strategies that I still use today.)

(00:22:46) A way to gamify resourcefulness and save money in your team.

(00:29:37) One of my favorite repurposing stories that’ll blow your mind (about Henry Ford and wood scraps.)

(00:31:59) Three daily exercises to level up your resourcefulness skills.

Wanna know what really holds entrepreneurs back?

… it’s not lack of funds.

But the good, no GREAT, news: You can tweak, change, and rewrite the story however many times you need to.

In fact, in this episode, Megan Hyatt Miller, the CEO of Full Focus, shares exactly how to rewrite and believe your new story. (Because let’s be real: if you don’t believe your new story—it won’t work.)

*introducing superwoman*

I've been a long-time follower of Jasmine and even named her as my mentor and hero. I've always felt that the universe had big plans for me, plans that I'm currently *painting* and unsure what the final image will be.
Jasmine's creates a space of possibility and hope. Even more so, she truly cares about her audience. When I've shared episodes on social media, she's personally voice messaged me gratitude (which was a total pinch me moment!)
My current personal goal is to be a group mentor and speaker for the wedding industry, celebrating the businesses who celebrate love. Jasmine pushes me to keep going even if I can't see the bigger picture yet. One day soon, I will thank her in person for her generosity, resilience, perspective, and support, which inspires so many to keep showing up. AND if the universe allows, call her my personal coach.
If it's not obvious yet, I highly recommend this podcast 🥰
