This was a very practical approach to investing. It is very detailed but also easy to understand

Great info lot of things that don’t apply as much. Long winded. Some great info and examples

The classic packaged with great commentary

It is the instruction manual for value investing. Zweig's commentary adds a great deal of value. Many of the companies that Graham's uses as examples no longer exist and the commentary explains what the equivalent company would be circa 2023. Not only is the content exceptional, but it is also a pleasant read (listen in this case) and never felt like a chore.

unabridged not really

3/4 of this version are someone else's theories and babbling about the things Benjamin is trying to explain to you. with endless foot notes and personal stories it is a wonderfully you can pay attention to the actual book itself at all.
