Publisher's Summary

Explore the captivating history of the Industrial Revolution!

For most of human existence, people lived in a somewhat similar fashion. Everything that has been produced, from food and raw materials to clothing and other finished products, has been done either solely by hand or with some help of animal power. This was the same across the eras and throughout the world, no matter how advanced or backward the various civilizations were.

Yet, our lives today couldn’t be more different. Most of our products are made by machines and mechanical power, allowing for greater productivity and a higher quality of life, in general. That advance was made possible by what we today call the Industrial Revolution. Its start in the mid-18th century signalized a slow but unwavering transformation from a handmade manufacturing civilization to a machine-powered industrial society.

In The Industrial Revolution: A Captivating Guide to a Period of Major Industrialization and the Introduction of the Spinning Jenny, the Cotton Gin, Electricity, and Other Inventions, you will discover topics, such as:

  • Birth of the Revolution
  • British Motors Start Rolling
  • Cogs of the Revolution
  • Dissemination of Change
  • Sparks of a New Revolution
  • Effects of the Transformation
  • And much, much more!

Vital, significant audiobook

This modern audiobook chronicled the development of artistic approaches from 'behind in the day' to the future for taking concepts to market fast and affordably for intimate enjoyment and ideas for living that are transforming the world. This audiobook offers a new global solution for solving problems, funding, and making everything from widgets to thoughts only Star Trek tried to imagine.

Excellent Intro to the Industrial Revolution

'Author' provides an extraordinary insight into how 3D and other Digital Invention Products can join small producers with their customers via the Internet without the requirement for agents. i.e. wholesalers and retailers to intermediate for them.

Good Introduction

Good Start to the Captivating History Movement and how this has the potential to change the way we create bespoke goods to better satisfy consumer demands, somewhat than relying on mass-produced assets that nevermore quite give everything we need.

Easy to understand

This audiobook is an excellent start to the Industrial Revolution, and it gains me sad because I understand from practice the lengthier, in-depth books on the topic are nowhere next to as clear, let alone pleasant, to know.

Great book.

A very detailed depiction of a very crucial time in world history. I suggest this audiobook. It was exactly what I was looking for. This short book is better than most overly long histories on the same subject.

Five stars

Important for the knowledge given on a wide-ranging topic. There could have been more information added, but this is a great and mostly well-rounded audiobook for the subject-matter.

Nice and informative

I got out after explaining this audiobook that I understood very little about the Industrial Revolution: What is was, How it began and How it changed people. Extremely informative, written, and go very well. If this is an area you are short in then follow this book. You will come out with a more active and more aware.
