Missing some wonderful characters

As usual fun begins with a new case for Elizabeth and the gang. However I really missed Chris and Donna and Bogdan! I’m not sure why they were basically absent from most of the story! I also wish the narrator of the first 2 books was back, she was so much better than this narrator.

He has done it again!

Book 5 and still as good as the first. Osman’s characters are as interesting as ever. Their quips and side comments make me smile every time. Great plot and great performance by Fiona Shaw. Will he write another? I really hope so because I will miss them. Love you Thursday Murder Club!

Grinning from ear to ear

I want 86 more of these books. They're such an incredible combination of fun, light hearted, emotional and deeply understanding of people and relationships. Also funny on top of all that!

Now old friends

I love the humanity of the characters and the values they represent. I think it’s great that the cast of characters are expanding in an organic manner. Also, I totally dig the Middlemarch allusions.

Hilariously funny, charming characters, great drama AND a good who-dunnit!
Yet thoughtfully and humanely addressed issues of aging.
Am now going to re-read previous books to see if they are as funny!
