Acerca de esta escucha

Dexter lives in a world where everyone is on an even playing field from the moment they're born, but that equality comes at a price.

Now years after he was separated from his parents, he is on a mission to find them, but what he encounters along the way changes everything he believes about himself, the government, and the world around him.

After he witnesses a terrorist attack, he immediately joins the military, but as he fights for what’s right, he discovers a litany of wrongs, including a planned attack on the planet where his parents are.

Can he prevent disaster and reunite with his parents before it’s too late?

The author layed out a fantastic premise but almost immediately we are rushed through major events and there is not much background or in depth looks at what event have taken place to get us to where we are. The timeline was also hard to gauge, the way it was portrayed made it seem as if the whole story took place in less than a week but by the sounds of some of the character dialogue it may have been meant to be longer. i would have loved for this story to have slowed down a bit, and really let the world and characters grow. it would have helped me attach myself more and made the end of the book pay off better. All that being said, i may read a sequel if one comes along.

on a separate note, the voice acting was all over the place and waa very distracting from the story at times.

Good premise. but missed the mark
