Great book- robotic audio

I feel guilty rating this so low, but the audio is truly terrible. The information is wonderful and helpful, but I kept trying to rush through it because of the robotic audio. I have many, many bookmarks with helpful information, but I would recommend reading a hardcover of this rather than audio.

Not Recommended for Audio

If you are considering reading this book, I would not listen to it and instead buy the actual text to read. The narrator was horribly robotic but I forced myself through it. I don’t feel like I was able to get much from it due to the narration. The content is decent and Knight provides great perspectives on collecting instructional specific data. However I don’t think these practices are applicable for every population or every teacher.

Poorly written, stiffly narrated

The narrator's manner of reading is so stiff and jarring that the substance is mostly lost to me. The writing is also stiff and so academic and full of constant quotes and attributions as to make me wonder if he ever speaks to other humans or has an original thought. I've only continued listening because it is required for a class.

The robotic voice is distracting for me

The book's content is great, but this audio version has a robotic voice that is highly distracting. I preferred to read the book than continue listening to it.
