There wasn’t much money to be made as a Trailblazer, searching out new worlds for possible development. Still, it was safer than the bounty hunter career that had cost Gregory Roarke his left arm six years ago. It was a quiet life, uneventful and mostly legal.

Until Roarke was approached by two men with a proposal: track down a mysterious woman named Tera and, through her, locate a secret project called Icarus.

The challenge was intriguing. The unlimited budget was tempting. But Roarke had a more personal reason to accept the job.

Good Story

Like the story and performance, the narrator was quite talented. The story was not the usual hard science fiction I’m used to but still very enjoyable and lighthearted.

Really liked the book

I liked the story, the plot, the tempo of the book the way it was done and I really enjoy listening to Timothy Zahn‘s books being a blind person with limited sight he does does an excellent job and his writing and I also really like the person that did the narration of the book to he does a really good job of narrating, the book and voices to

Brilliant story!!!

Zahn does not disappoint. Story is well written and exciting.
But voice actor Mac Thompson makes it become alive. He's amazing!!!
If you like space soaps spiced with the rougish element (Han Solo) this is for you!

His father wrote too much of the book

I really wanted to like this, as the overall story is great. It massively overuses the phrase “as my father used to say”, even when it doesn’t add anything to the story.

I’m not sure if it’s the narrator or the book, but there are several places where the dialogue seems choppy and rushed
