Ehhh

I was going to give up a few times on the book until I sped up the narration to 1.6 which made it a little better of a listen. The narrator’s accent pulled away from the story for me. There were some twists but not my favorite from this author.

Unrealistic...

Slightly disappointing..a little too "hokey pokey" and not believable. The first book The Housemaid, was better.

On and on with dull domestic trivia, and then

The first 2/3 were dull and repetitive, but towards the end it got a little more interesting. SEMI-SPOILER: There is a new strain of these kinds of domestic thrillers where there are multiple killers or soon to be killers in one family. Don't be suprised if this is one of them.

Nope.

Boring. Predictable. Not much of a twist. This series needs to stop here… this book doesn’t even compare to the first two. Maybe should have stopped after two.
