Story
Like his parents Andy and Laura Friessen, Gabriel knows what it means to face an impossible situation. When he puts up an ad looking for a roommate, he never expects to meet a down-on-her-luck gorgeous single mom with a meddling family, a crazy ex-boyfriend, and enough chemistry between them to heat a county. The only problem is she doesn’t believe in happily-ever-after and sees falling in love as a mistake only fools make. But Gabriel can’t stop thinking about her, wanting her, and is determined to show her the road to love isn’t as dangerous as she believes.

Growing up, Cat Friessen didn’t always know who she was. In fact, her earliest memory is of being alone in a silent world, terrified and misunderstood, left like garbage in a Mexican orphanage. The memory haunts her, and it’s one she’s never shared with her parents Neil and Candy Friessen, who have given her their name, their love, and a surgery that changed her life for the better. Now 19, Cat struggles with her sheltered existence and the fact that she doesn’t really fit in.

Story
Everyone in Columbia Falls, Montana, believes Chelsea Friessen is a spoiled princess who is more trouble than she’s worth. They’d be wrong though, considering that tale was spun by a scorned high school crush and two years later is still the first impression everyone has of her. But then she meets a man whose personality is as arrogant as he is drop-dead gorgeous; if Chelsea was in her right mind, she should have been running away from him. The only problem is that this badass stranger walked into her life knowing he saved her from humiliation.

From the moment the new sheriff walks into Julia's cafe, she fights the attraction from the new sheriff, a man she recognizes is ex-military and has baggage that comes along with it. Even though she's never felt this way for another man, Julia isn't willing to take a chance with Logan. A Wonderful Listen!!

Publisher's Summary
The Homecoming is a special request from one of my long-time fans, who asked for a book that would revisit the entire Friessen clan with a reunion so you can catch up with all of the family, their wives, and their children. I just couldn’t say no to that. I mean, what could be better than a new book featuring all your favorite Friessen characters and the new generation that has begun?
Catch up with your favorite family, the Friessens, as four generations come together for what they anticipate to be a fun-filled weekend with babies and children, loads of love, and laughter. You can expect all the drama of young love, from the secrets to the hidden truths in a seemingly perfect marriage.
However, one fateful moment changes everything in this unforgettable story. When three lives are put in danger, the fallout could ultimately shatter the deep love and trust in this family, dividing them forever — and the cost could be something far greater than any of them could have imagined.

A fast-paced and gripping story
The Homecoming is, as the title says, about a reunion of the whole Friessen family.
While the saga fans will be delighted to meet their heroes and heroines, there’s no need to be familiar with the series to enjoy this fast-paced and intriguing story. From the very beginning, the tension rises high, keeping the listener on edge until the end. With so many characters, the narrator’s task wasn’t an easy one. The interpretation renders the different roles and personalities, guiding the listener throughout the story, making it easy to follow.
I voluntarily listened to and reviewed this audiobook received from the author. Opinions and comments are solely my own.

Excellent
Friessens family reunion in Cancun, a time to celebrate with the many generations. When some don’t show up, a mystery of why, and secrets come out. A good time of the memories from this family. Seeing the choices, and decisions made that bond them together. Good narration by Linden, which added to the story
