Wedding postponed again

Sara Friessen and her fiancé Devon are finally getting married after postponing the wedding a few times. Her sister Chelsea and her husband Alaric, son of a notorious criminal, are flying in from Boston. When her father, Andy goes to the airport to pick up the couple, they are not on the plane and neither are answering their phones.

Andy, Laura, Sara and Devon fly to Boston, it does not seem that the police are not taking their disappearance seriously. Andy has always protected his family, now he is faced with not being able to do anything to find his daughter. The authorities only seem to be interested in Alaric’s father, Andy is desperate and does the one thing he swore he never would, calls his cousins Brad, Jed, and Neil, for help.

Andy thinks that the worst may have happened to Chelsea, but he does not say anything. This is story will keep you on the edge of your seat. From what Andy is treated versus Devon by the police to a body being found that fits Chelsea’s description.

I'm Impressed

This book was intense and action-packed almost from the very start. It's a very quick and easy read. I have to be honest. This is the first book I've read from this series. It seems like a stand-alone type of novel so it doesn't really hurt anything, but I can't help but wonder if I missed some important information about the series overall. Either way, I liked it and I will go back and read the rest of the series.

I have enjoyed every book in this series! This book has strong family bonds and values! The narration was great and kept me entertained! The author did a great job with the character builds and plot! I look forward to reading more books from this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

heartbreaking

What do you do when it's your wedding in a few days and it has been postponed before? Sara's sister, Chelsea and her husband are missing. They never arrived at the airport. So what to do? They go to Boston to find out the mystery of their disappearance, with only getting roadblocks in their way.
Lorhannie Eckhardt stories are all about family, friendships, problems, love and support for each other.
Sylvia Gonçalves narration is very good.
