Publisher's Summary

Ambrosia Winters and her father are in trouble, big trouble. If Ambrosia doesn't consent to marry her father's crooked business partner, Reginald Van Cleet, he'll slap false charges on her father, and bring him to complete ruin, if not worse. To escape the madman, Cecil Winters will do anything to save his daughter from suffering such a horrible fate. But what?

Garrett Vander wasn't expecting a mail-order bride, but that's exactly what he got. Worse, no one in town even knew who sent for her! But who was he to argue? She was beautiful, kind, but also brought something with her no one expected. Her father! Now why would she do that? There was more to his mail-order bride than she let on, and Garrett was determined to find out what...or he wasn't going to marry her.

Unsolved mystery

The question remains: who ordered a mail-order bride for Garrett Vander?

Shocking introduction, secrets, more diabolical plans, growing love.

Great narration.

Magical

I just cannot get enough of this series! Well, truthfully any book by Kit Morgan and especially an audible book with Michael Rahhal as the narrator!!
We find ourselves back in Indepence and this time with Garrett and Ami (Ambrosia!) Ambrosia and her father are on the run. He was threatened by his business party that he would ruin him unless Ami became his wife. Well, that just was not going to happen! So they go to the mail order bride agency (yes the same one as all of this series) and are given Garrett's name in Independence.
When they show up, of course Garrett has no idea who put his name in! That stays a mystery and still is, but I have my suspicions. Garrett has finished college and is working on being a lawyer and taking the place of the local one that will be retiring. His dad is the mayor and his mom, well she is priceless can I say.
Follow the ups and downs of this amazing story and the awesome narration and sit back and just sigh.

A heartwarming mail order bride romance!

Where does The Holiday Mail Order Bride rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Holiday Mail Order Bride continues the journey of many characters that we have come to know in the Holiday Mail Order Bride series. The characters are entertaining and well developed. The story line is fresh and mingles characters from previous books so you feel like the story continues where it left off. The plot moves along at a good pace. This is a sweet and delightful story that will captivate you and keep your attention from the beginning to the end.

Any additional comments?

Michael Rahhal did a fantastic job on the narration. He really brought the characters to life. He did a great job with the different accents, especially the Irish accent. Sometimes his impersonations made me giggle. I had to laugh every single time he said “uhh huh”. You can hear the passion in his performance with the concise and clear speech while adding depth to the story.

Kit Morgan is one of my favorite authors. I know that when I pick up one of her books that I won’t be disappointed. Even though this is part of a series, each book can be read as a stand-alone. I have read/listened to each book back to back. If you are looking for a good mail order bride series to start, then I recommend to start with the Holiday Mail Order Bride series. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming mail order bride romance.
