Publisher's Summary

As a PI, he was used to protecting people. But one beautiful heiress is challenging every move he makes in the conclusion of Carol Ericson's Brody Law miniseries.

When PI Judd Brody agreed to safeguard socialite London Breck, he expected a fluff gig filled with parties and paparazzi. But the bombshell blonde was nothing like the wild princess he'd seen in the media...and his undeniable attraction to her was as real as the threats to her life. The missteps of London's past didn't compare to the fear she now faced. With her sexy bodyguard by her side, she vowed to confront the conspiracy haunting her family. London couldn't imagine surviving this without Judd. She'd help him get the answers she needed. But she had no intention of watching him walk away once he did....

Unbelievable and not realistic

It is a short book, 6 hours, and if you take out the sex scenes, which would be nice, it's probably down to 4 hours. Gotta fill it with something. The story line for the four book series is not believable, and the ending? Well, it just doesn't add up to a 'dedicated' law-enforcement family. I can't see real people acting this way. Or maybe I just listen to too many books. I am very glad 3 of the books were in the Audible Escape package and I only had to use 1 credit for the 4 books.
