Sly teaches her the importance of control and creativity, pushing Iris to see beyond the physical, to the essence of her magic.
Iris’s training is far from solitary. She joins a group of warriors with complementary abilities, including Tomas, who commands plants to shield and strike; Trudy, a healer skilled in battlefield medicine and antidotes; and Braun, a giant of a man whose earth-shaking strength anchors the group. Together, they form a cohesive unit, defending the borders of Holdenari from advancing Simian forces.
