Exciting Conclusion

This was the 7th book in "The Immortal Grimm Brothers' Guide to Sociopathic Princesses" series, and I enjoyed the story a lot. This book had its own tale, plus it wrapped up all the loose ends that began earlier in the series. I enjoyed this series of twisted retellings of fairytales, and I recommend it to others who enjoy this genre. Alexandria Ferrall's narration was fine, and she kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Epic Finale, Love This Series!

Parents- PG-PG13 - this is acceptable for preteens and up
Language- None
Violence- PG13- normal to genre, nothing overly graphic
Sexual Content- PG - normal cozy romance with kissing and snuggles, no bedroom scenes to warn of

This was a really hard book to put down! I don't want to give anything away so I will keep this short. There's epic conflict, battles, clean romance, and a solid ending. This series needs to be read in order, and it's one that I will be re-listening to just for fun. I do wish there was a more consistent and strong narrator but I understand why the author choose to change them as the stories changed in each book from different character's perspectives. This series is clean for any age, amazingly addictive and truly an original spin on twisted fairy tale re-tellings. I love all the magic, fantasy and shifter elements woven into this fairy tale universe. I absolutely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys this genre.

Narrator- 3⭐ The differentiations between characters wasn't the best many sounded the same which made it tough at times to know who was talking, the acting was pretty good and she did have a pleasant voice, but I did feel like sue was a hit slow. I found the normal speaking rate to be at 1.3x speed.

Fabulous finale

Everything has come down to this. It's the final showdown between good and evil in the heart of the Black Forest. The darkness is after the Sworn Seven because it needs their strength to defeat the royal families. But when Annabell's truth comes out, things don't appear to be the same anymore. With the knowledge she has given them and recent unexplained losses, they have come to the understanding there must be a traitor in their midst. Cole is the center of the final showdown, a mysterious man whose past is unknown, but it comes out that he's been something instrumental for Annabell and it was something I couldn't foresee. There are enough twists and turns and danger around every corner. I was completely immersed in this story and was somewhat concerned that it wouldn't turn out well for everyone. But I knew that the author wouldn't disappoint me and I had to trust that she would keep the characters faithful to the end. That ending was brilliant with suspense and real love and I'm hoping that there may be a new generation of royals and townspeople to carry on this tale.
Alexandria Ferrall did a good job with the narration. I could always tell the difference among characters by the little nuances she was able to convey. It was a little slow and I listened to it at 1.5 speed.
