I love how the Bible verse was so fitting at the end!

Another great Jody Hedlund book! She’s my go to for clean Christian romance with some sizzle. I love her! I recommend this and the first book in the series. I can’t wait to listen to the next one too!

The narrator has a slow breathy whisper. I don’t hate it but I definitely don’t love it. This is my 3rd book narrated by her.

A Beautiful story of love forgiveness and facing one's fears.

I enjoyed the second book of this series. I enjoyed taking the adventure of driving cattle west while watching a love story unfold. the themes of the book of trusting God overcoming fear, forgiveness, and the unconditional love of God and family are woven gracefully throughout the plot. it was a lovely light read set in the West.

Beautiful Story

This is a historical fiction story that takes place during the Civil War. Flynn with his younger brother and sister have to drive a huge herd west to his brother's home. Traveling along are Linnea, a botanist and her dr. grandfather who is also a botanist. They are collecting plants for the Smithsonian with other botanists. As they travel west, there are many dangers and hardships. Linnea's father secretly pays Flynn to watch over her. She can be unobservant of her surroundings because of her plant obsession. They forced proximity helps them develop a respected friendship, then more. I learned so much about the perils of wagon train traveling ie. Confederate raiders, dangerous animals, and weather. 4.25 stars
