Interesting first part of the book, but the main character is kind of annoying

I did like a lot of the description of the Louisiana state sounds very beautiful and a lot of the settings was described. Most of the characters are believable is just Leann. The band character was kind of annoying because she kept repeating herself and not the most likable character.

never a dull moment

I loved that this book started fast and didn't ever have a lul. I love this writer. some books of hers have been just ok. but mostly she is very solid. I usually don't want them to end. the endings can be too quick. she doesn't him or haw. Definitely worth trying, I think most, will be very pleased

Good characters

The storyline was good, but the virtual narration ruined it. A book that was meant to be spooky and suspenseful just can’t be relayed through virtual narration.

Intriguing story

Great characters, but I’m not crazy about AI narration compared to human. The scene takes place in Detroit and Louisiana, both interesting locations for this story. Fun to listen to.

Did not even make it halfway

What a stinker! From the slow, boring and forced story to the ridiculous AI narrator I did not even make it halfway through! Only great thing about this book is it was free!
