She's one of my go-to authors; her books are always good, particularly her historical fiction novels. I enjoyed this one as much for the Harvey Girls history as for the story of Billie and Charlotte. There's even a cameo from 2 characters from The Tumbling Turner Sisters (my favorite of her novels).

Great historical novel well structured, well researched, and well delivered.

Thoroughly enjoyed The Harvey Girls. Great listen. Provided insight into an aspect of American social history I would never have otherwise encountered.
