THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING JACK REACHER SERIES THAT INSPIRED TWO MAJOR MOTION PICTURES AND THE STREAMING SERIES REACHER

“The truth about Reacher gets better and better. . . . This series [is] utterly addictive.”—Janet Maslin, The New York Times

Jack Reacher was alone, the way he liked it, soaking up the hot, electric New York City night, watching a man cross the street to a parked Mercedes and drive it away. The car contained one million dollars in ransom money because Edward Lane, the man who paid it, would do anything to get his family back.

Lane runs a highly illegal soldiers-for-hire operation. He will use any tool to find his beautiful wife and child. And Jack Reacher is the best manhunter in the world.

On the trail of vicious kidnappers, Reacher learns the chilling secrets of his employer’s past . . . and of a horrific drama in the heart of a nasty little war. He knows that Edward Lane is hiding something. Something dirty. Something big. But Reacher also knows this: He’s already in way too deep to stop now. And if he has to do it the hard way, he will.

Reseñas de la Crítica

“A Reacher novel is the closest thing to guaranteed joy short of a honeymoon.”Rocky Mountain News

“Plenty of suspense writers play the tough-guy-with-a-heart-of-gold card, but Child is indelibly skillful, quickly sketching intriguing characters as he drops bombshell after bombshell. With its taciturn but engaging hero and almost unbearably prolonged tension, The Hard Way makes reading easy indeed.”The Miami Herald

“In The Hard Way, Reacher is better than ever.”Contra Costa Times

Slow starting but worth the wait. Could not be sure where the twists were taking you.

Jack has a cup of coffee. Always on the go. He gets recruited by Oliver's Army. There's an abduction and our Jack is taken across New York and across the ditch to pick up on errant clues that would make General Garber proud. But without getting a break Reacher has to do this one The Hard Way. Look out for the reference to the Canaries. Lee my dear fellow- league cup aside, they could never ever be called "...any good..."

Lee Child and Dick Hill do it again

Most disturbing bad guy detail so far as I have gone in the series, but satisfying ending. Worth my time.

Classic Reacher

Enjoyed the listen

We couldn’t figure out who the bad guy was until almost the very end. It was one of Child’s better Reacher adventures. He simply lets himself get pulled into a twisted tale. There were twists and turns and even a little humor. We think the title should have been “Mirror on a stick”

Mirror on a stick

It took me awhile to figure out the clues, but I didn't completely figure it out until the very end. I know that Reacher is going to be alive at the end but still I wondered how the heck was he going to get out of this mess, this time.

Had me sitting on the edge of my seat!

While this is a little predictable there were still enough twists to keep you guessing to the end. As always Lee Child keeps you entertained and Jack Reacher is Jack Reacher.
