Fun story!

Fun story, but the author exposes uncomfortable truth about where the characters have lived in their lives. It is a joy they have moved on and grown to the point that they can remember the past and help others with wisdom from their own natural experiences and now good lives.

As always a great story.

You cannot help but love these rich characters. From Mr. Jlb to Ma Macutsie you will chuckle many times at the situations they are in. Such a good read and the performance fantastic as always for this narrator Lisette Licat. Could listen to her all day. :)

Too much repetition

I think I've read too many of these. I'm sick of hearing about the 97% or whatever was on the secretary exam

wonderful as ever

but the ending was a bit abrupt for the rest of the story for me

Continuation of an excellent series

I really enjoyed the characters- you come to understand the way of life in Botswana and to understand the way of human nature. You grow with the characters from book to book and can't wait for the next adventure. Life is so enjoyable when it's simple and this book makes everything seemed enjoyable by being honest and kind.

As good as always!

I was hesitant to purchase this book because some of the reviews said it wasn't up to the usual standards. I am so glad I went ahead and bought it. It was great and just as good as any book in the series . Love these characters!

These characters are like old friends

Every now and then I must revisit Botswana and join my old friends for a cup of bush tea. Always a good time. So polite and gentle, always a relaxing listen.

I love my annual visit with Mma Ramotswe and this was no disappointment. Themes of kindness, friendship, and honesty are a mainstay in this series.
