She just never imagined one of the risks would be falling in love, a love that may even be powerful enough to finally help her face her own crushing grief.

Beautiful, creative, take on the emotional immigrant/refugee story. This for young people and adults alike!!

The book literally mentions that the main character doesn't have an accent, so why did the narrator exaggerate one?

the story however was very new and creative.

This book was a good read. I would recommend. Very well done and also informative. This is a book we are reading for book club and we will have great discussions about the content.

I can see this more relatable for immigrant youth, the story was a little stale and simplistic to me
