Loved it! A great era intro for ages ten to adult.

This is the perfect introduction to the era. A lot of ways to spin off for further study into the time.

Engaging storyline

I've always been fascinated by stories about the atomic bomb. Then this book cakes along and tells it from the point of view of a preteen girl living at Los Alamos. Yes, this is interesting!

Character growth

The characters had so much depth. Beautiful, beautiful book. The characters grow through hardships together. The plot is unexpected yet empowering. 10/10 book.
