Rosamund Pike is Everything

I loved book 1, and book 2 is even better. But what really blew me away was Rosamund Pike’s narration. It was so good and really enhanced the story in fantastic ways. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the series as read by her.

Best Reader I've Ever Heard

The narrator blew me away. She brought the characters to life and made them all easily distinguishable. I'm eagerly ( & impatiently!) awaiting her reading of Book 3.

Pike did such a good job I find it hard to listen to Kramer and reading they are just really boring. she brings to life this amazing story!!

Absolute Best Narrator

I read this series 13 plus years ago. Loved them all. I tried to listen to them a couple years ago again and couldn't get through them because of the boring narrator. So I returned it. When I found that Rosamund was narrating I decided to give the audio series another chance. OMG! soooo glad I did!! I've listened to a lot of audiobooks and she is by far the best narrator I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. I can't express in words enough how well she acted out each character. She was so believable, I was engrossed listening to the whole thing in practically one sitting. She'd better get an award for these performances!!! I can't wait for the next release date!

Pikes narration is excellent

Rosamund pike is wonderful. Much prefer this narration to the other. Will wait for her production of the 3rd book to be released and hope she does the rest of them too.

Great story with great narration

Somehow I have gone past wheel of time series before, but now listening to them I really love them.

Rosamund Pike makes this story even better with her great acting - it doesn't feel right to call it narration even.

Great story; fantastic performance!

This may be the best audiobook performance I've heard since Jim Dale on the Harry Potter series. Rosamund Pike does an absolutely phenomenal job! I can't wait to hear more of her work on this and other series (I hope!!).

I wish she would narrate the rest of the series

The emotion she brings to the characters brings the story to life more than the tv show!!! I truly hope she records the rest of the books

Another good book and great performance!

After listening to Pike, it is hard to go back to the older audio book versions. The guy's voice just drones on while she brings life to the reading. As the second of 14 books in the series, Jordan continues to develop his characters and the storyline well. My one complaint is how many times do you need to kill Ishmael? It gets kinda old.
