Interesting new stuff

I've lived in rural Michigan most of my life and learned many things I didn't know about my stare. I am a bit disappointed that Jordan Weiber, Olympic Gold Medalist, was not mentioned.

Learn the pronunciations before you give facts.

Liked it and it gave a lot of cool info about my home state but the narrator made me cringe regularly. The narrator mispronounced so many things that quick research would have very easily given the correct pronunciation. it almost ruined it for me.

So many rhetorical questions.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to listen to somebody ask you "have you ever?" or "DId you know?" over and over again for over 4 hours?

I came here seeking knowledge primarily about the early settlers and historical events about Michigan that most don't know. instead I get a bunch of "Did you know that Eminem grew up in Detroit, Michigan?", "Did you know thar Burt Reynolds once lied about not being from Michigan?" And "have you ever wondered which major pizza chain is from Michigan?"

I grew up in Michigan. This book seems more for like a 10 year old from Arkansas.
