Publisher's Summary

Jason and his best friend, Michael, are finding out just how different things can be...and that magic isn’t as limited as previously thought.

What will he do? The God Bradard now wants him to be his champion, but can he do it? He feels trapped. Can he keep Earth safe? Will the dungeon he found and the people he recruits be enough? Will adventure, love, and faith be enough to keep Jason going and to do what he doesn’t want to do: gain power and fight the Gods themselves?

Follow Jason again as he goes deeper into Destiny’s World and discovers the true stakes involved.

It's more like a chapter and less of a book.

There is very little story for the price of a book. I purchased a couple before I decided to comment or review. Maybe I'm to old, I just expect more stories packed into a book.

Finally it’s over

I can not in my sanity read the next 4 books. I hate that this book is written so well, and the narrator is perfect.

1. It’s boring, the first 2 books are just filler level 52 already only had 2 fights, already married 5 times over, has an army, has the beginnings of zealots while having done nothing!!!

2. If this is a litrpg, than it is comparable to an “idle hero’s” mobile game that you can turn off and it still has gain.

3. I don’t want to insult anyone if I don’t have too but this is like being verbally assaulted, there are 6 books in the series, you get the first one with membership but the rest you pay for. I get it it’s h authors job and he shouldn’t work for free so I bought the second book; I will not being buying the next 4 because for what it is, this is a cash grab, you get nothing but garbage packed in 1 free, and 5 other bags of awful.

4. Your main character is a whiny pathetic slacker, with no personality, and isn’t even good enough to be a filler character, worse his best friend mike is more interesting and he’s just as bad. It’s sad when the only character which might be interesting was Jupiter, and you nixed him with a new god, and I only like him because I understand why he only could be new Jason for 30 seconds at a time.

Please get out of litrpg, and go write mystery novels you will do well there with all that description, with little to no content. I feel attacked by how bored I was, you have talent just not for this.

I’m giving 2 stars and that’s only because it is articulate, and the narrator is Uber talented.

It started off good with book 1….

This book was ok …..if it wasn’t for the MC being a toddler that wines about everything, I would of enjoyed it more . MC had no Marbles

Continues along the same way as book 1

On Day 3 of playing this game, the main character is a demi-God, married to 5 women, and hasn't really encountered too many challenges.

On the plus side, he realizes this, and hates it.

So I guess I am hoping Book 3 introduces some type of antagonist. Inner self doubt is not as good a motivation than others.

Female Gnomes Rock! ✌️🧙‍♂️Spell Casters are Cool!🧙‍♂️🧞‍♂️

I love the attention to detail with each character all are enjoyably witty, and full of spirit.
The enthusiasm that is delivered by the narrator tirelessly spinning one adventure after another, is addictive and full of surprises.
I’m definitely recommending this title to my family and friends.

Not good...

They never get anything done. A hundred good ideas and no follow through. "Hey we should do this." "Ok...." Then they start it and you never hear about it again. Like I said with the first book, the characters are good and the world is good. Its the story that's lacking imo.

long chapter books

exactly one 2minute battle, the first in the series, and then the book ends just as the MC gets into a dungeon{sigh}. The series so far is like chapter books... really long because every little thing is described. harem part is strictly PG-13, thank God. MC is annoying, but the performance is good, Axtell does all he can to save the book. hopefully the author gets better at telling the larger story on later books, because I like the premise, but I'm going to pass.

MC is a whiney bstrd

The MC is a whiney bstrd. super annoying to hear him go on and on and on about how is life is the worst because he keeps getting to many overpowered skills, spells, and women with little effort. Its becoming a fantasy about a dude with expert level self hatred and low self esteem while some how surrounded by beautiful women and literal Gods who insist on helping and comforting him.......... the amount of groveling and whining is far past distasteful. A wavering hero would be understandable, but this dude is constantly doing that annoying hit.

fillers gallore

i feel there's a rather unnecessary focus on trying to be erotica of some sort, instead of focusing on the world building, the story is good, but given it's genre, it feels very full of fillers.

Potential

This story had so much potential. It baffles me why the writer decided to go with the harem angle. It comes too easy and to be honest spoils what could have been. The idea of how the main character gets his power and what he is asked to do is excellent.

The fact he has all these women falling all over him when they don’t even know his real name is too much to swallow. It’s like a 14 year old boy was asked to write that part of the story. Unfortunately the 14 year old boy is absolutely clueless when it comes to women.

Had to return the title. If the harem idea was dropped from the story then it’s premise would be really interesting. I mean at least earn the relationships. Make it believable. Unfortunately the women seem like sex workers whom have been paid to give him the girlfriend experience.
