This was a collection of cute little short stories. I think my favorite one was about the little girl who discovers the reason for her connection to the animals.

My ONLY complaint is that the narrator's voice was rather scratchy, and I kept hoping that he would drink some water and clear his throat. He didn't, and it wasn't bad enough to stop listening, but the mild annoyance remains.

Yes, the narrator, Alan Weyman, is great. He has a great voice that really puts the feeling into the words.

It was a series of short stories that were all very enchanting and fun to listen to. Would be great for children and adults who like fantasy or fairy tales.

Have you listened to any of Alan Weyman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

My first time listening to this narrator and I will definitely be looking for others of his.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The first story(Chapter 3) and the second story (chapter 4) were my favorites.

What a wonderful collection of stories. The narration made me feel as though I was snuggled up by a fire listening to a storyteller rocking away in his chair while he passed down stories of wisdom and wonder. Overall, the stories made me really want to believe in magic and cause me to take a second look or to reminisce upon the audiobook itself when I find myself wandering about outside.

Love the magic

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This consisted of seven short stories concerning magic. They were... pretty strange. If you like short whimsical fun stories, this is for you. It was well written and I liked the writing style of the author.
Also, the narrator had a very gravelly voice and it didn't sit well with me for this novel.
