Amy McFadden
Now well into her apprenticeship with magician Emery Thane, 20-year-old Ceony Twill is continuing to discover the joy of paper magic. She adores bringing her spells to life in surprising ways, from learning the power of distortion to creating a beloved paper dog. And she secretly hopes that the romance she foresaw blossoming between her and the peculiar yet strikingly handsome Emery finally becomes real.
But when one magician with a penchant for deadly scheming believes that Ceony possesses a secret, he vows to discover it… even if it tears apart the very fabric of their magical world. After a series of attacks target Ceony, and catch those she holds most dear in the crossfire, she knows she must find the true limits of her powers… and keep her knowledge from falling into wicked hands.
The delightful sequel to Charlie N. Holmberg’s The Paper Magician, The Glass Magician will charm listeners young and old alike.

Would you try another book from Charlie N. Holmberg and/or Amy McFadden?
I would and have tried books by the author. I enjoyed how Amy McFadden did her narration. If you’ve listened to books by Charlie N. Holmberg before, how does this one compare?
his book isn't as good as book 1of the series. Our heroine doesn't develop well. She seems too emotional and doesn't handle situations well. The bad guys pop in and out of the story without any real explanations going on to their reasons. Their motives are scattered about in bits and it takes effort keep pay attention to these details. The story also jumps around making it hard to follow at times. I got the impression that things were dumped in to add content to the story. What three words best describe Amy McFadden’s performance?
There is good character interpretation. She speaks well and clearly. Was The Glass Magician worth the listening time?
This is a fair book. You do need to know what is happened in book 1 to understand some of the factors of book 2. But book 2 isn't as good as book one.Not as good as book one

If you could sum up The Glass Magician in three words, what would they be?
Exciting, Imaginative, Developed. What other book might you compare The Glass Magician to and why?
This reads so well, and easy to devour. The magic is simplistic, but very believable. It's whimsy reminds me of "Howl's moving castle." However the love story feels more along the lines of the "Graceling" series.Which character – as performed by Amy McFadden – was your favorite?
Seraj (sp?). Amy is unafraid of accents, and executes them well. He was nasty, he made my skin crawl, especially by the third book when you learn more of him.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed frequently, and tended to blush when Ceony blushed.Any additional comments?
Good trilogy for a week off, or vacation. So whimsical.Favorite of the Trio
