Changed narrators now??😡

After 13 books with Rebecca Rainsford narrating the books and creating the characters, The Glass Dagger is done by someone different!😡. It completely made Draven sound like a total wimp. The story line was great, but the change in narrators made me sorry I bought the audiobook!

Wrong Narrator for previously recorded characters

Audible has NO RIGHT using a different narrator for characters Rebecca Rainsford has brought to life for the fans of Stephanie's work. If Rebecca was too busy to record her previous roles then the morons at Audible should have waited. There is no problem using a new narrator for new characters, but don't murder the characters we've grown to love based on scheduling conflicts. Dyer is a great narrator, so please don't confuse who my fury is directed at. Audible has proven before how money hungry they are. If the fans matter, this B.S. wouldn't happen.

Great Youth Read for Afterlife

I really enjoyed this book and ready for the next in series. Have read the adult books of Afterlife Saga and this helps fill in between the other sagas but is a great start Afterlife series for teens. It's funny and dramatic with a start of adventure. Love Pip and Sophia as teachers.; it was hilarious! Great job Stephanie Hudson!!

Good story but.....

This is a good story as it gives you more information about some characters that have been touched on previously, however, the narrator was not suitable for this story. He obviously had no idea that some of the main characters were American and he read everyone in an English accent, apart from Pip, who previously had had an English accent. There didn't seem to be any emotion in his reading, Alexa reads this better. The story and plot were very good but the narration really let it down.

Fantastic read for all ages

Recommend that you read with book. The books been updated since it first came out and have brilliant sketches of some of the scenes throughout this book that I don't recall seeing when I first read it.

This would be great at getting a young teen who finds reading difficult e.g. Dyslexic or simply doesn't enjoy reading and getting them interested reading particularly in urban fantasy. With the Audiobook and kindle ebook with Whispersync it's easy for the reader to follow along if using a tablet or Kindle fire. You will need to ensure its set up correctly, you can also use a phone , I have an iPhone and set up using screen mirroring with my TV. Only downside in using immersion reading with Whispersync is it skips the fantastic sketches that help you imagine the scene being described, so if following along with ebook be forewarned.

I'd recommend before giving this to a child bellow 13 that you have a quick listen or read to see if you think they may find anything difficult or inappropriate. A mature 8 year old I think would be fine but always check if you're not sure

If you love the Afterlife saga you'll enjoy this and for those that like and dislike academy books I think you'll find this interesting as it's not your typical academy book.

not anywhere near as good as the first book

this book had grate DNA but is lack luster. the after life saga was a beautiful indepth and a ingrossing story line but this lacks character depth, storyline and intimacy and ends abruptly in a badly read cliffhanger...

Awesome

It took a bit of getting used to work having Kris Dyer narrate but once I got over the shock of a male narrator I was hooked.
I am a fan of the afterlife saga books & audiobooks. And I was not disappointed. 5stars
