In his book, Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll sends his character Alice on a quest to find out who she is. In her quest, she is confronted by numerous characters who willingly point out to her who she is and who she is not, none. Their observations are primarily biased and not a little absurd. The good news is that she eventually finds herself by looking in a mirror.

Like Alice, most people base their identity on the judgments and points of view of those around them; parents, teachers, preachers, friends, siblings, and don’t forget mass media. There is so much input of judgment and so many points of view it is very easy to become confused about just who one is.

The Gift of Allowance offers a set of simple tools for finding your own identity without being lost in the fog of other’s points of view about you and your world. Listening to the book and using the tools can change your life and allow you to determine just who you are and who you want to be.

Good book for all levels desiring more

Lot of examples of people being in a right or wrong world and how that limits them. The points of view of the book are unusual in this world but especially important in this day and age where many people rely on experts or authority instead of discovering what is true for them. Another contribution to creating more on and with our planet.

I would recommend this as a starting point for people unfamiliar with Access Consciousness tools.
