Relationship, sex, sexuality, family, and the future are examples of conceptual constructs. Society is a construct. Culture, religion, and reputation are constructs. These things are not actually real; they are conceptual realities that have been dropped into our existence.

Magic
If you could sum up The Place in three words, what would they be?
A terrible accident happened to Jack. He asked for help and he received it in a very different way. It is a wonderful story about some magic place where we can change our way of perception and open ourselves to new possibilities.

So Many Energies
Every time I listen to this book, I perceive different energies. What can we Need and Tug into our realities beyond this reality? Beautifully written and evocatively read Gary Douglas’ The Place is the Earth’s contribution to greater possibility. And so so much more.

Wonderful story
I loved this story - it touched depths of me, as through it I recognized or sensed other possibilities and 'the more' I seek out of life... and tears just streamed down my face sometimes. Thank you.
I also love that Gary Douglas narrates it himself!
