It felt like I needed to listen to it again!

This latest book in Tim Marshall’s series on geography has been a must read/listen TWICE. Not sure whether because it is so dense, not clear or simply enjoyable.

It is the first of the series that I listen to, so had the bonus of his emotions mixed with his natural wit to go with it. I had it set to 1.2 X which was adequate for me.

I will listen to it once more, only slower this time. If I still feel I need another round, I will buy the hard copy.

And Outstanding View of the World and Tomorrow

One of the best epitaphs of our world as it stands currently and where it is headed. The author neither denies the most innate human properties, greed, domination, and curiosity, nor tries to justify them with altruism. A true level headed observation that should be required reading of anyone who cares about where the world goes in the next 20 years.

Good Overview of Astro Politics

Tim Marshall gives a good overview of the state of the world’s various space programs and the geopolitical issues of space. He does it in an entertaining way with a bit of British humor sprinkled in.

New information on space technology and warfare

Terrific and fair overview of the latest in space technologies. Will be helpful for anyone interested in the future of space warfare and colonization. The war gaming scenarios are superb. If you are in the space industry complex as a civilian or military member, it is must read/listen.

Loved it!

Informative, witty, aspirational. The added humor set a nice tone that didn’t make it a boring text book. Fun read and great overview for anyone wanting to learn more about space activities.
