I like cats

I’m a cat owner. I had previously enjoyed the audible book “We’ll Prescribe you a Cat.” I listened to this book while walking outside for exercise. The book is calming to listen to with very little in it to shock you or trigger you. It got repetitive at times. However, I did enjoy each characters struggle and the hope and inspiration they found at the cafe. The astrology part was interesting, but different cause I don’t know much about it. It’s a good read for those who like cats and need some calm infused into their day.

Feel good story with sprinkles of magic

I could describe this book like one of those lofi music videos with the image of a woman reading and sitting next to her cat, but in audio book format. Overall it was a chill, relaxing, somewhat magical book, with relatable little stories. They describe various little coffee shop treats in the book... ice cream, pie, etc... and this book felt like eating one of those treats. Excellent performance by the voice actors as well.

Wholesome and Different Points of View

This book, although short, was everything I look for in books. It was filled with comfort, kindness, and different points of view from different people that all were connected in someways. I look forward to more books from this author. If you adore cats, enjoy astrology, and prefer wholesome stories, this is the book for you. And the ending was perfect.

Narration ruined it for me

I returned this to audible. The story seemed interesting. The narration was monotone and hard to listen to.

Wanted to love it

I wanted to love this book, I really did. I just couldn’t get into it. A lot of the ideas in this book would normally keep my interest but they way it reads (even with my audiobooks set to 1.25 speed) just isn’t very engaging. Maybe if I read it physically myself. The audiobooks just didn’t work for me for this one.

A treat for current times

Resonates with the current times well and was a quick delightful story that ties together well

Interesting story too much astrology

Using a little astrology to structure the characters would be okay, but the detailed astrological discussion was boring. The way the characters were tied together by their grade school experience was clever, but the ending left some of the characters unresolved. There is a sequel in the works, but I won’t be reading it.

Not the least bit interesting.

I am not a fan of audiobooks. I did not like the voices. The story was weak.
