Publisher's summary

The day millions of people mysteriously vanished from planet earth, the world was forever changed.  Oddly enough, most of us that remained thought it was a change for the better.  But that was wrong… way wrong.

World leaders hailed this new era as a return to the golden age.  Life was supposed to be better than it had ever been.  But we were just in the calm before the storm.  The four horsemen of the apocalypse were waiting in the wings, and the world was rushing head long into a period of death and destruction like we had never imagined.

Somehow I made it through alive… that’s pretty obvious since you’re reading my book.  But it wasn’t easy, and I certainly didn’t make through unscathed.  Worst of all, the seven year period described in the Bible as the Tribulation has only just begun.

In the stunning sequel to They Walk In Darkness, Hank Downes faces the first five seal judgements from the book of Revelation in the Bible.  It’s a fast paced, action packed story of survival in what quickly devolves into a post apocalyptic world where nothing is what it seems.  If you loved the Left Behind series, the Edge of Collapse series, and The Book of Eli, then you will want to read The Four Horsemen.

The Four Horsemen is rated PG-13 for violence, adult situations, and mild language.

Absolutely fantastic true story

It was an eye opener of what people who don’t accept Jesus as their Saviou before the Rapture, will go thru, thank you for this story , it would be nice if we had listened to the first book first, bit there’s no order given

The author stuck with The Bible.

I liked the characters. I enjoyed that the main character is still flawed after finding salvation so as not to present a false depiction of a Christian. He’s still human, but he loves God and believes in Jesus, which is what carries him through. It’s well written. I will be listening to the next book.

Good book

I can appreciate the path that the author put on some of the unknowns from the Bible. I am not a fan of the virtual voice and I couldn't find the other book that was being referred to throughout the book.

Mostly good.

Book could certainly do without the foul language. We also Did not like or appreciate the Lutheran and German negative comments in the book. We are christian too and hold the same trinity beliefs as baptist and other similar denominations.
