Fun book for kids

My wife and I bought this book for ourselves knowing that it is a kids book. However, we like the Haunted Mansion ride and the lore around it, so this was perfect for a long road trip. I'd guess the target age for this is about 10-13, but we still enjoyed it This is actually 2 books. The first centers around 4 kids who liked telling scary stories, but don't enjoy those stories quite as much when they are the protagonists. This one rings of Shyamalan. The second is about a continuation of the first book in a way, but I don't want to reveal too much and ruin the plot. The best part of the whole thing was the excellent performance. The voice acting was fantastic! The references to voice track from the ride were a lot of fun too. Again, this is a fun read as long as you know what you're getting into. Don't expect an adult plotline or true scares. Enjoy it for what it is and you'll be glad you did.

So much fun!

Tales from The Haunted mansion is an unbelievably fun book to listen to. The attention to detail within the book as it relates to the actual haunted mansion in Disney world is amazing. If you are a Disney fan and a fan of The Haunted mansion this is a must listen.

Spooktacular!

If you are a Haunted Mansion fan, you'll love these books! They are overly dramatic much like the ride but that's why we all love it. The narration was the absolute best part. It truly feels like the ghost host is talking to you through the entire story. A perfect read for Halloween time or if you're planning a trip to any of the Disney parks.

a scary good listen

as an adult I loved this read from the Haunted Mansion library. it gave me some chills reminiscent of Goosebumps, are you afraid of the dark, and scary stories to tell in the dark, all while still being very much it's own new addition to the list of children's horror media

Family fun

Growing up, Haunted Mansion was my favorite movie, video game and Disney land attraction. These books shot me back to those fun times. They are family friendly and just adorable to listen to

surprisingly good!

I decided to get this after a trip to Disney. My only experience before then was the movie and that's what I expected. I was glad to see that the ride was absolutely nothing like that and actually a fairly creepy ride. this book captures that feeling completely and tells the story of a lot of what you see in the ride. I definitely recommend this book!

A Fun Listen, Haunted Mansion is the best

The narrator was fun and gave it a spooky vibe. Listened to it while I hung up my Halloween decorations and it was very entertaining.

My Nephew said he would rather have the comic book

My Nephew said he would rather have the comic books. The narrator was great in my opinion , my nephew, did not like him. My nephew stated it reads like a comic, with the popup bubbles of the Story teller, but he wanted the pictures of comics make it the best! The stories are cute and give backstory to the ride. I Found it funny at times , but the Jokes got old quick. I give Disney 4 stars for the effort but the Audience level did not bite. I wanted to get him into audible but was not wanting to buy as subscription. Glad I did it this way.
