The Fair Fight is a pulsating historical novel set within the world of female pugilists and their patrons in late 18th-century Bristol. It's an un-pauseable story which takes you from a filthy brothel to the finest houses in the town, from the world of street fighters to another of champions. It is about fighting your way to the top - and not only with your fists. Alive with the smells and sounds of the street, The Fair Fight is a major debut with incredibly wide appeal.

Where does The Fair Fight rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Probably top 5, my top audibook is The Handmaid's Tale, but this is really very very good.

What other book might you compare The Fair Fight to and why?

I don't know that I've ever read anything like it...

Which scene was your favorite?

(Spoiler) The first time Ruthie taught Charlotte how to fight.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Two women from different walks of life fighting their way to happiness.

Any additional comments?

Get this. Seriously. Specially if you are a woman and want to hear something with good female characters. But I believe men will equally appreciate it.
