Publisher's summary

Get The Eurynome Code box set, featuring all six books in the Amazon best-selling series. Like Firefly? Can't get enough Killjoys? Then this series is for you.

Karin Makos lives a lie. Genetically engineered from birth and raised in a scientific compound to gain unnatural powers, she has since escaped and built a new life hidden from those who created her. For her, the chance to pilot a small-time scrounging vessel to remote corners of space is the dream. After years on the run with her sister and enduring the constant paranoia of living planet-side, going off-radar gives her exactly what she wants: freedom.

In a single night, that dream is shattered.

A system-wide attack decimates humanity, and the few insubstantial clues they have point straight back into her past and the horrors it holds. Plagued by strange dreams of her sister and a sense of growing danger, Karin and the crew of the Nemina must race desperately across space to find their loved ones - and answers.

So starts The Eurynome Code, a fast-paced space opera in the same veins as Firefly, Killjoys, and Battlestar Galactica. Like strong, snarky leads, high-octane action, and twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat? Then this series is for you. Get all six books in this one omnibus!

Books included in the set:

Book One: Black Dawn
Book Two: Renegade
Book Three: Blood Ties
Book Four: World Shift
Book Five: Awakening
Book Six: Deus

Fantastic

Loved the diverse story and worlds. Great mix of details without too much or too little. Good to have women as the heroes...would enjoy more like this

story was good, much needless swearing!

I tried to struggle through the copious amount of swearing, but it seemed to get worse and worse as I progressed through. It finally got to be too much for me and took away from the story line. Ultimately, I just couldn't get through it. I, unfortunately, do not recommend this novel.

Like the books,

But, i would like to have more than just a one person perfective all the time. 64 hours of the same person view on the world is a long time :-),

I loved being dumped right into the action!

Wowie! This book drops the reader right into the action! But, ummmm... that beginning! 😟 The first couple of scenes read like a horror story! Wait, what?!?? I thought I grabbed a Space Opera 🤔... yeah... at least "Space Opera" is even part of the title! Although I wouldn't normally pick-up a horror novel, I was already immersed in the story, and I really wanted to find out what happens next, and hopefully, the tale will have a great payoff!
I would hafta say that the book is probably a bit of both Space Opera and horror, and I for one (oddly, given my aversion to horror), really enjoyed the ride!
I gotta say the ending was perhaps a bit abrupt, even cliffhangery... and where normally I might have been put out by this (especially if I actually had to wait for K Gorman to write and release book 2), that wasn't the case here, as I'd had the foresight to get the boxed set up front! So instead of being upset, I'm happily looking forward to diving right back into the foray!
What about the narrator, Andrea Emmes?.. well, "WOW" kinda' covers it! She gave a simply perfect voice performance!
If you can handle a somewhat graphic Space Opera, trust me... this is the one to get your hands on!!!

PS. Many of my reviews for this boxed set can be found under the individual titles... on both Goodreads and Amazon.

Otherworldly

This book is exciting. It leaves you wondering what next will the people get themselves into our out of. I have one thing that I do not like and that was the use of the F word to much and the writer didn’t seem to have any other explanations.

Lack of imagination.

If you're looking for sci-fi this is a flop, authors imagination is incredibly limited to their current time period.

I don't know what to say

The narrator was challenging to listen to. The voice of a 12 year old and very difficult to listen to for longer periods of time. The author really needed to think about the fact that this was way in the future. incandescent lights, really? That said the story had potential, but very disjointed a lot of the time. It was a struggle to finish this 6 book set and took several months. Wouldn't recommend it. Sorry.

A good time was had by all

Loved the book, loved the narrator, I would love the series. Commentary about language, or sexual innuendo, in previous reviews shows a lack of understanding of daily military life. It's refreshing to see the main character move from passive and weak to world shattering awesome and then to human. I've listened to this several times and will probably do so again.
