This is an excellent book on learning how to become a more effective public speaker. The book takes you through steps to become better and more confident. My favorite is the discussions on the practice using the power stance. This stance adds to your confidence and when practicing in front of a mirror, does wonders! As an adult, I have always been afraid of public speaking which is weird because I used to do it as a child all the time! I really liked this book because it broke down each faucet of public speaking to make it seem less stressful and more enjoyable without the anxiety. It tells you what to do, how to think, and where to go in your mind while you're speaking. I highly recommend for those who a scaredy cats like me!

My favorite chapter was the one on social anxiety and transforming fear into confidence. For the first time, I'm not trying to avoid speaking opportunities.
