Wow! I loved it!

This is the third book in the Love in Isolation series. Wow! I loved it! This is an excellent forbidden age-gap, forced proximity standalone romance. Piper and Tristan’s story is beautifully written. Tristan, Piper’s new bodyguard, is handsome, alpha, very protective, and caring. Piper is a popular and dedicated influencer and a spoiled billionaire heiress. She is virgin, stubborn, sassy, passionate, and feisty. She definitely is very entertaining! They are opposites attract, but they are perfect together. I like how they complement each other. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. The storyline is fast-paced, steamy, and captivating, filled with romance, humor, mystery, and a little suspense. The supporting characters are amazing. Tristan’s brother Easton is handsome, and I can't wait to listen to his story! Andy Arndt and Sebastian York did a wonderful job with the dual narration. The audio production is perfection. This is an excellent team authors/narrators. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to listening to The Heart of Us, the next book in the series. I love this series, and I highly recommend it!

Piper Montgomery is an heiress and popular social media star. When it appears that she has a stalker, her father hires bodyguard Tristan Belvedere to protect her. The two isolate at Tristan's family beach house in Florida. We know what happens when couples are isolated in Kennedy Fox books, right? There's attraction, tension, flirting, some forbidden stuff. Then there's the point when the two break, they give in to temptation, and BOOM! You wonder why they resisted in the first place.

Piper was a bit of brat in the beginning. I mean, who could blame her? She never wanted for anything and was used to getting her way. Tristan was used to her, but the more he interacted with Piper, the less she showed her bratty self. They both discovered a lot about themselves--who they were, how they perceived life and the world, and how to move forward as a couple.

If you like forced proximity, age gap, protector romance with some suspense added in, this book is for you. I loved the inclusivity of disability and veteran status that was woven well into the storyline.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York lent their immense talent to bringing these characters to life! Their gift of storytelling made the book seem like a movie in my ears.

Oh my....Tristan in audio!!!!

Oh holy heavens....I knew this book was going to be good in audio but dang....Sebastian York giving voice to Tristan totally took his hotness level even higher. He and Andi Arndt were the perfect Piper and Tristan. Andi has a voice that can portray any age woman but I swear Sebastian York has the maturity tone that was needed for Tristan and he did not disappoint.

Piper is forced into hiding with her bodyguard, Tristan, when her stalker gets bold and attempts to take her at her sister's wedding reception. Tristan knows it is wrong of him to think about Piper the way he does on so many levels so of course he has to battle himself when she insists on enticing him with her body on more than one occasion. When he finally gives in to temptation there are fireworks for sure.

Even though there is an age gap between these two they still manage to relate to each other on an emotional level and it was so fun to read and even more fun to hear.

Bodyguard, age gap perfection!

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York bring to life the characters of Piper and Tristan. Tristan is hired to be Pipers bodyguard to protect her from a stalker, when the stalker shows up at a wedding Piper is attending, Tristan and Piper are forced into hiding at a beach house in Florida. Being in the small beach house with Piper proves to be very challenging for Tristan and he can no longer hold back about the way he feels for Piper. Forced to stay out of the public eye and off of social media Piper takes matters into her own hands when it comes to her attraction to Tristan, and the flames ignite. This was an awesome audio to listen. The narrators are two my favorites in the business they are amazing in this Love in isolation series. Kennedy Fox continues to deliver swoon worthy reads.

The book you didn’t know you needed

This book made me so happy I love the age gap romance and the face my that he’s a military veteran. I really don’t think I’ve ever read a book with an amputee before and they way this story flows makes me so happy. You will absolutely love the story and steamy romance that you love to hear! This is a must read but if you haven’t read book one yet do yourself a favor and grab that first because you’ll get glimpses of a past favorite couple also

OMG! Off the charts chemistry...

Spoiled internet princess falls for broody ex-military bodyguard. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. Love Piper and Tristan. Piper knows what she wants and goes for it. Tristan did not have a chance. Lots of drama and suspense as well as fun witty banter. Truly enjoyed their story. The ending is awesome. The narrators rocked it!

Loved this one!

I absolutely loved this story! It was a phenomenal read and I just adored the characters. I loved getting to know Piper better in this story as we have met her in the last book (it was about her sister). This is part of a series, 3rd book, but it can be read as a standalone no problem. You could definitely pick this up and start here but you do get some extra enjoyment out of it if you've read the others.
I adored Piper and Tristan. I loved the banter back and forth. Tristan doesn't cater to Piper and in some ways gives her some rough food for thought about how she acts on her Youtube channel with the perfectly bright personality all the time. It was great for him to see another side to her as she has always been intrigued by him. I loved the way that the age gap was handled with them. It's a thing but it isn't blown out of proportion and it works because of their personalities. I loved the interplay between the characters and how things built between them. There was plenty to hold my attention from beginning to end. It didn't matter that most of the book all happened in an isolated beach house, there was plenty going on between the characters as they got to know each other better and figured out how to get along in close confines and outside of comfort zones. This was a really fun read for me and I can't wait for the next one!
The narrators did a fantastic job and I really enjoyed them bringing this story to life.

Fun and steamy

I recently listened to The End of Us by Kennedy Fox and loved it. Narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, this was a forbidden age-gap bodyguard romance with forced proximity. When Piper is being stalked, Tristan steps in as her bodyguard and the chemistry is off the pages! Piper was not the best at the beginning, with her attitude, but we see her grow throughout the story and I loved seeing that. Tristan is reserved and brooding in all the best ways.

When she is in danger, they leave and are isolated to keep her safe. Now they are forced together, even when they drive each other crazy. He was so protective and I loved that about him. Their journey was fun. sweet at times and a bit suspenseful.

5 Giving New Meaning to Being a Bodyguard Stars!!

I loved Piper and Tristan’s story. They’re definitely and intriguing couple. Piper is a media influencer and finds herself in need of having a bodyguard. Little did she know that when Tristan comes on board, there’s going to be so much more than just guarding her!

There’s a significant age gap between them but I didn’t feel like it wasn’t a plausible situation. While Piper may sometimes be viewed as a vapid young woman, there actually is so much more to this girl. Tristan in all is grumpy alpha-ness is exactly what she needs… but she needs him to be on board with what she wants; especially given that she’s very innocent when it comes to sexy times.

Everything changes though when they’re forced to live together and Piper walks in on Tristan showering. We get more to what and why Tristan is the way he is.

The more I listened to expert narration of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York the more I loved this story. I experienced a cavalcade of emotions that I definitely wasn’t expecting! While their age difference might be a deterrent for some, once both of them realized the love they could have it became less of an issue. And oh holy stars… those sexy times were very steamy. Piper’s openness to being with Tristan and what pleases him had me fanning myself. And don’t think this girl didn’t figure out what she likes… she was an eager student and had no problem asking for what she wanted.

Overall this was a great story and I thorough enjoyed having Andi and SebYo in my ears!

Oh Tristan the bodyguard!

I was a little sad we weren’t going back to the cabin when Piper and Tristan went into hiding but it seems the isolation magic works at the beach too.

I loved their story so much. I love how we get to know the real Piper and not just the influencer. Tristan is a layered man who slowly starts to show us all parts of him too.

The little mystery and surprises sprinkled in were just perfect as well.

Now back to the beach house for Easton 👀

From the moment I started listening, I was glued to my headphones.

Kennedy Fox continues to wow me with another amazing novel set in their “Love in Isolation” series, a series of standalone books and I highly recommend them all, each one is outstanding and offers a novel experience. This third book is Piper and Tristan’s story, it is an age gap, forced proximity romance, a bodyguard and his charge. The story is well written with original storylines that captivating from start to end, this is the type of book once you start you do not want to put it down because you need to know what happens next. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to like and care about too. Piper comes from an affluent family, her name may have helped her get her start but she was determined earn her own fame and money as a vlogger and social media influencer. The job has its perks, but it also has its downfalls, the biggest one is the stalker that is obsessed with her, one who evades getting captured and flies under the radar. Her father hired a bodyguard, former military, who takes his job seriously, so when the stalker managed to get close to Piper at her sister’s wedding reception, he gets her to safety and forces her into hiding until the stalker is caught. He takes her to a modest beach house in Florida, the accommodations are not what she is custom to, so that, and that she needs to stay off of social media is a huge adjustment for her. Tristan is patient with her and the more he gets to know her he sees there is so much more to her. There is sizzling and undeniable chemistry between them, Tristan’s professional self fights it but her flirting is finally gets him and he could not deny it anymore. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is beautifully plotted with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of humor, some thrilling and suspenseful moments and some steamy romance. Kennedy Fox, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Andy Arndt and Sebastian York are entertaining storytellers and versatile voice artists, their narration enhances and already great story to another level of greatness. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, I love how they take each role and make them their own, sounding believable in every role they play. You can hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance. Thank you for another exceptional listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your audiobooks.

Heart felt age-gap romance

Even though the narrators are different in this book to the first 2, they were still just as capable of keeping your attention from the beginning.
This story is about Piper and Tristan who we meet in book 2. Piper is a privileged influencer who's parents employ Tristan as her bodyguard when she starts to get some terrifying attention. They find themselves quarantined in his family beach house to keep her safe. They've both been harbouring their feelings for the other. Will this be the time for them to get to know each other better? How will Piper cope without all her usual amenities? There's plenty of suspense, drama, family, passion, love and more throughout. Enjoy this captivating romance!

The End of Us is a bodyguard, older MMC/ younger & inexperienced FMC romance and book 3 in the Love in Isolation series by Kennedy Fox.
We met Tristan and Piper in book 2 and it was difficult to not immediately fall in love with their story.
The book was entertaining and full of banter but also with a pinch of mystery/suspense.
Sebastian York and Andi Arndt were truly amazing voicing the characters.

Dare I say I loved the audio book way more than the paperback???? It was great!! The End of Us is an age gap, forced proximity standalone romance. With a sexy alpha, military background of a man and a dainty, spoiled, internet sensation for his love interest. I loved both Tristan and Piper, I feel like Tristan brought the best out of Piper and removed the immature vibes I was getting in the beginning of the book. There was all the steam and just the right amount of suspense in this instalment of the Love in Isolation series. If you loved the other 2, you’ll love this one!

Didn't quite hit the spot for me

This is the first Kennedy Fox audiobook that hasn't hit the mark for me. The performances from the narrators (Sebastian and Andi) were fantastic I can't fault those. The story and the characters in this one just didn't grab me as much as I would have liked.
Tristan and Piper's story is an age gap bodyguard romance. The story was just skirting along until Piper walks in on Tristan in the shower and we learn something new about him. This element upped the intrigue for me. But Piper's confidence and brazeness when it comes to sex didn't feel fitting for a virginal 24 year old social media influencer. I just couldn't gel with her as a heroine to feel involved enough in their story.
As an audiobook it was still enjoyable and had some funny moments too but it didn't excite me like Kennedy Fox books typically do.

My Thoughts on The End of Us

I can’t even begin to say how much I loved this story. I loved so much about it. Tristan was such an amazing leading man. I haven’t read many stories with leading men quite like him but now I want more. His struggles only humanized him more and endeared him to me. I loved the details of his life and what he went through in the past and goes through now that Kennedy Fox did give. And when you factor in his relationship with Piper it just added to my enjoyment of the story. Her situation was pretty realistic considering how popular vlogging has become and I could easily see how everything that she was going through could really happen. Even having read the two previous Love in Isolation books I still found this one to be so different and liked the progression of the relationship between Tristan and Piper from bodyguard and client to so much more.
The narration was great. Both Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did fantastic jobs. They’re two of the best narrators for a reason and this book was just one of many examples of why I love them so much.

Good plotlines but not my favorite tropes

It's not the book, it's me and the awful heroine. I'm sorry but I just couldn't like Piper and she was never redeemed for me - sigh. I loved Tristan <3 - you can come protect me and forget about that whiny, spoiled, child. I don't seek out age gap tropes but since there are so many it's hard to avoid but, there are age gaps and there are H (37) and h (21) age gaps and it was just too icky for me. I couldn't find a reason why Tristan was attracted to her besides the fact Piper was beautiful and a big old V! another yuck for me. They didn't have anything in common.

I know I'm in the minority about liking these kinds of tropes so many of you will love it because is a great fun story and a great listen. And did I mention Tristan was awesome :)

The narration was excellent because it has two pros (Andi Arndt & Sebastian York). Sebastian York was the perfect Tristan. Unfortunately, I didn't think Andi Arndt was a good choice as a voice for Piper.

Piper and Tristan!

Piper has lived a privileged life and has seen both the perks and downfalls of her celebrity status. She has drawn the attention of the wrong person which has placed her in danger and Tristan has been hired to keep her safe however after the latest threat he believes the only way to do that is to keep her hidden until they find out who is responsible.

When Tristan is required to spend time alone with Piper he believes that there is much more to the pampered princess that he believed. There is no denying the attraction between them, but will she be the woman to break through his walls and help him heal from his past?

At first glance you wouldn’t think that Piper and Tristan would be a match between the differences in their ages, lifestyles and life experiences but they balance each other to perfection and give each what they need and so much more. The narrators did a wonderful job at bring out the fun and feisty side of Piper and the sweet and sexy side of Tristan.

Easy one sit read

This is a really fun series where forced proximity really is the order of the day. Piper is a huge social media influencer and when her stalker shows up at a family function, her grumpy older bodyguard whisks her away. This was super fast paced and a one sit read and while at times Piper kinda rubbed me the wrong way, watching her break past Tristan's walls and really caring about his injury was a sweet moment. KF never miss with me, frankly and I'd recommend this series for sure.
