The End of Us is Book 3 in the Love in Isolation Series by Kennedy Fox narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Ardnt.

Piper Montgomery is a 21 year old blogger/social media influencer that was born into Manhattan royalty. When Piper finds herself the object of a stalker’s obsession, her father hires a bodyguard to keep Piper safe. Enter Piper’s new bodyguard, Tristan Belvedere, former military turned private security and 16 years Piper’s senior.

When Piper’s stalker escalates to an attack, Tristan and Piper go off grid until he’s caught. While Piper has always been intrigued by her quiet, brooding bodyguard, Tristan’s impression of Piper was less than favorable. He had seen Piper as a spoiled princess—that is until their forced proximity allows him to see beneath the Piper Montgomery persona she puts on for the world.

The more time these two spend together
the harder it becomes for Tristan to resist the pull between them but Piper is determined to get Tristan to open up. Once they cross that line these two have so much to overcome to make their relationship work—a 16 year age gap, Tristan being employed by Piper’s father, and not to mention a crazy stalker on the loose determined to make Piper his.

There’s so much more to the two of them than meets the eye. I absolutely loved this pair and seeing them evolve and grow not only as a couple but as individuals as well. They are the classic definition of opposites attract— a pair you wouldn’t think goes together but somehow they just fit. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and they bring out the best in one another.

I knew going in that I was going to love this book because it’s all of my favorite tropes rolled up in one (forbidden, age gap, forced proximity) but y’all Tristan and Piper’s story is so well written—full of banter, emotion, and suspense. The End of Us is the best of KF.

Of course, you can NEVER go wrong with a narrator duo like Sebastian York and Andi Ardnt. They nailed Piper and Tristan and brought these characters to life!

I will note this was the first book that I’ve read/listened to in this series and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything not having read/listened to the previous books. I will, however, be going back to listen to them now!

Absolutely Loved Tristan and Piper!

I did not read the rest of the books in this series, but was still able to follow along with this one. This was an age gap, stalker, close proximity book focusing on influence Piper and her bodyguard Tristan. Piper is in her early 20s and makes her living of being an influencer, though she has family money of her own. At her sister's wedding, she is attacked by a stalker, and so her body guard Tristan whisked her away while her family tries to find stalker man. Tristan takes to his family's remote beach cabin, where Piper is pretty shocked to be slumming it, especially with a man she's attracted to but can't break through his hard shell. Tristan is a war vet, with a prosthetic, and during this time he gets to know Piper aside from the persona she portrays on social media. They definitely give in to temptation and explores more of their personal relationship during this time.

Piper is a bit young for sure. I think for that reason, her character isn't as fleshed out. I guess not enough life experience, based on my opinion. BUT TRISTAN was a super interesting character to me, and I wish we got to go more in depth about this background. I thought they were a bit of an odd pairing, though I don't think Piper's character was annoying or too immature. She's just kinda meh.

I listened to the audio of this with Sebastian York and Andi Arndt and enjoy both narrators immensely. They were easy to listen to, and the entire audio was pretty quick and entertaining. I have been loving all of the narrator choices for these Kennedy Fox books, and I think the books is much more enhanced with the audio. It gives you a voice to the characters to make them realistic. Highly recommend the audio!

Love these narrators and the story!

Another hit in The Insolation Series and this time around we have a story between social media influencer, Piper Montgomery and her bodyguard, Tristan Belvedere. We have a stalker on the loose who always seem to be in the know on everything Piper. An unexpected encounter with said stalker leads to a spontaneous hideaway between bodyguard and client. Listening to the narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York made me fall even more for this couple.

A forbidden love story, age gap, filled with chemistry, and lots of angsty confrontations can be a challenging time for both of them. Limited access to the outside world means no contact, no internet, and laying low until the perpetrator is caught. What do they do with so much time on their hands? Let just say there were many moments that stood out making me root more for a happily ever after. Getting to know the real person and seeing them in their element outside the everyday norm. The kicker is the unexpected reveal of Tristan and his background history that had me falling for him even more.

Get ready for a story that will have you wanting to take your own hideaway getaway with your person. Not only will you get a story entailing mystery and suspense you get a side of two people letting their walls down and getting to know one another on a deeper level you cannot help but want more of.

Falling hard for someone you least expected....

Oh Tristan the bodyguard!

I was a little sad we weren’t going back to the cabin when Piper and Tristan went into hiding but it seems the isolation magic works at the beach too.

I loved their story so much. I love how we get to know the real Piper and not just the influencer. Tristan is a layered man who slowly starts to show us all parts of him too.

The little mystery and surprises sprinkled in were just perfect as well.

Now back to the beach house for Easton 👀

Age-gap and sexy bodyguard 😍😍

I recently listened to The End of Us by Kennedy Fox and loved it. Narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, this was a forbidden age-gap bodyguard romance with forced proximity. When Piper is being stalked, Tristan steps in as her bodyguard and the chemistry is off the pages! Piper was not the best at the beginning, with her attitude, but we see her grow throughout the story and I loved seeing that. Tristan is reserved and brooding in all the best ways.

When she is in danger, they leave and are isolated to keep her safe. Now they are forced together, even when they drive each other crazy. He was so protective and I loved that about him. Their journey was fun. sweet at times and a bit suspenseful.

Happy listening!

Fun and steamy
