Publisher's Summary

They escaped the cities. They lived through the storm. But there are more dark clouds forming on the horizon for Wren and Robyn.

The undead have made escape impossible. Ruthless gangs patrol the highways, and danger lurks in the shadows. A new friend and a new settlement and things are looking up, though all is not what it seems.

In no time at all, they find themselves in the worst kind of trouble. Now, they have to pick a side. Whose will they choose?

Safety comes at a price. Is it one they’re willing to pay?

I have to stop holding my breath!

Seriously Chris and Kim, I had several moments in Book 4 where I caught myself holding my breath during perilous situations. This book was outstanding! Kim's narration is spot on and you're ability to change voices for each character and to do it consistently shows how perfect you are for this series. Chris you out did yourself with Book 4. Books 1-3 were great, but your writing of this Book, well, you had me holding my breath. LOL!! I have to give a shout out to Chris' wife, Tina Metcalfe, your efforts behind the scenes and keeping the fans always in focus are fantastic! Thank you team End of Everything and Safe Haven for sharing your gifts with the world. Now I'm off to Book 5.

Another great addition!

Who was your overall favorite character and why?
I think I've switched over and am liking Robyn more than Wren now! She's matured a lot of I love her snarky comments.

Which character – as performed by the narrator – was your favorite?
No one in particular. She did a fantastic job with all the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, but they must listen to the first 3 books in the series first. If they liked those, they'll love this one.

What did you love best about the book?
What became of Elizabeth.

Which scene was your favorite?
Probably the show down with Susan's dad. (trying not to give spoilers)

Which character did you like least? And why?
Elizabeth and Susan's parents are equally horrible people. I dislike them all equally.

Any additional comments?
I can't wait for the next book in the series. I know there's more, but at the time of this review, they aren't on audible. I'll just have to wait.

SIsters are Doing it for Themselves!

I absolutely love this series and Book 4 does not disappoint! Our two sisters, Wren and Robyn, continue to try to survive during the Zombie Apocalypse. Just when you think that things have gotten better for them and they can finally have some peace, the SHTF again! I find myself thinking that they are finally going to be able to settle down somewhere and start living a normal life, then BAM!!! Will they ever be able to just be teenaged girls again instead of awesome Zombie killers?

Christopher Artinian has written another non-stop rollercoaster ride in this installment. There are plenty of Zombie encounters, as well as a few villainous humans along the way (of course!). Wren and Robyn's ingenuity and ability to survive whatever comes their way gives the reader hope that if you are determined enough, you can survive anything. I love the interaction between the sisters and the snarky comments they throw at each other during times of crisis. This just makes them seem more real.

Be prepared for some characters that you have started to love to be killed off, but if you are a longtime Zompoc reader, you know this is going to happen! The narrator, Kim Bretton, is brilliant once again and really brings this book to life. Her perfect pacing and different accents for the characters really adds a lot to this book. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author/narrator and chose to review it.

Awesome as usual

I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed this series not only because of Christopher's writing but Kim's narration pulls me in. Her voices from little girls to adult men are all so well done.

I never get bored with these books. there's always craziness going on keeping me on my toes!

Page turner

Christopher Artinian is a brilliant story teller. Kim Britton is a wonderful orator. I started with the 3 book series and immediately purchased extra credits to get all the books. I simply could not stop listening to this. The conflicts are logical and suspenseful. The hero is kind of a Superman but that’s what makes the story great.

4th of Series

This is the story of Wren and Robyn, sisters and characters from the series Safe Haven (if you haven’t listened to it I highly recommend you do). They run into many problems both humans and RAMs as they try to survive. They go to Susan’s home (large manor) and her father is supposedly taking care of many people and patrolling to keep them safe. Banks and Georgie are good people. There is a lot of zombie and evil people action as they try and save survivors in town and bring them back to the manor. Recommend if you like zombies and it is not just for young adults. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

And it continues.

This amazing series is just pure unbelievable,
Not stopping surprising with his imagination The Author Christopher Artinian keeps doing it, twists in more twists without an ending.
His creation of a perfect background, perfect characters, a perfect unending story and on top of it using Kim Bretton for narration completes this perfect creation !!!

Absolutely without a doubt,
Fully recommended !

Flamable!

Once again the sisters show us how to navigate the zombie horde with style & squeak through tight spots with grace. Wren amazes me with her unusual tactics and kept me hooked desperate to find out if they can recognise and stay ahead of the threats with their team work - you can't keep these girls down!
