All the while, Jessica is facing her most spiritual challenge ever due to the death of a loved one.

ugh!
I really liked the earlier books. this one spent waaaay too much time repeating the awesomeness of the characters. Tracking the killer was filled with even more jessica/lucas/Meredith character drivel. hardly anything on the criminal chase. disappointing.
