Story
It’s natural to want the one you can’t have. And for as long as I could remember, I’d secretly wanted my brother’s best friend, Jace. He was six years older and always treated me like the sister he never had. Fast forward a decade. We were all in our 20s now. Jace had moved in with my brother, Nathan, and me to help us make ends meet after our parents died. It was just the three of us - an odd family dynamic. Living under our roof, Jace was as bossy and protective as ever. But he certainly didn’t look at me like a sister anymore. That was what made things so complicated.

It was the perfect plan. I needed a wife - temporarily - in order to inherit the family business. And she needed a favor - the kind that takes nine months to deliver. We had it all worked out, from the no-touching policy on our wedding night (her rule) to the no-falling-in-love decree (mine). She’d marry me, I’d give her the means to have the baby she’d always wanted, and one year later we’d amicably part ways with no hassle, no demands, and certainly no regrets. After all, Bianca DeRossi and I are experts at infuriating one another - we’ve been doing it since we were kids.

At 18, I walked away from Willow Creek Valley for good. I was young, scared, and stupid, and it cost me the love of my life - Grayson Parkerson. Fourteen years later, a crash sends me back home to recover. Back to where we met, fell in love, and planned a future. Working at The Park Inn together gives us a chance to reconnect, and seeing him with his little girl makes me long for the days when he was mine. The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

5 EXTREMELY SWEET AND INSANELY SEXY HEARTS!
I fell in love with Andrew & Cam on The Edge of Never and I think I love them even more! One thing I loved about these books was that they're written brilliantly so that you never get bored. You never can tell what's coming next. Andrew & Camryn takes us once again to another journey of their lives into a whole new level! The story is told from both their POVs in alternating chapters giving us a very well-rounded view of the whole story. The book starts with Camryn & Andrew living together in Texas and Andrew is recovered from his brain tumor. Because of certain tragic events that happen and that happened in the past, Cam starts to recoil into her mind. Andrew can feel the tension between her and the rest of her friends and family and decides enough is enough and he takes matters into his own hands. This prompts another road trip for as long as it takes Camryn to want to live life to the fullest again. Along the road, Andrew also helped Cam get closure for things from her past that were still hurting her and that she hadn't yet dealt with. I swear that man was just a saint. He was the perfect blend of just a regular, tender, loving guy and a hot, dominant Alpha. I absolutely adored him! They have their ups & downs on this journey both psychically & mentally while they experience the wonderful love they shared through the first book. This was an unforgettable beautiful heart warming story that you cannot help but let it tug at your heart strings. And it sticks with you forever. The Edge of Always didn't disappoint.

why the different narrators? Disappointing!!!
I was excited for this audiobook to come out. I LOVED the first story and couldn't wait to hear this sequel.
I have to ask the publisher -- was the narrator of the first book not available to complete this one? That's the only reason I can think of that you wouldn't have the same person narrate both books.
I grew to accept Lauren Fortgang as the voice of Camryn and Andrew, and I expected to hear her continue the story in this new book.
I am SO disappointed that she didn't narrate this book. It changed the whole experience.
These narrators are ok. But they aren't the voices I expect to hear.
Bottom line, the story is good, but the overall experience was ruined for me because of the change in narrators. Overall -- disappointed.

Wish They Had Used The Same Narrator For This One!
I loved the follow up on Camryn and Andrew's story, however I don't know why they changed narrators...it completely changed the feel of the book for me. I thought Lauren Fortgang did a PHENOMENAL job with The Edge of Never! She had the perfect cadence, timing and tone for both characters...and really brought them to life for me. Switching to these two narrators did not do the book justice and I could not get nearly as wrapped up in the characters as I did with the first book (which I listened to about 4 times!).
So, while I loved hearing the ending to Camryn and Andrew's journey....it just didn't have the same vibrant feel as the first book.

Really Disappointing
Would you try another book from J. A. Redmerski and/or Daniel May and Leslie Bellair ?
Maybe, I was a fan of the first book.
Has The Edge of Always turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
What didn’t you like about Daniel May and Leslie Bellair ’s performance?
I much preferred the original narrator for Cameron. She had a horrible fake accent and sounded like she was a teenager. Cameron is supposed to be a bit older in this book, yet she sounded years younger. The narrator from the Edge of Never was Cameron to me. She was perfect and I even liked when she would narrate for Andrew. This was hard to listen too.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Edge of Always?
So many I don't know where to start.
Any additional comments?
This book was so disappointing. I raced to download it after The Edge of Never becuase I couldn't put that down (or in the case of the audio book, turn it off). It was fast paced, exciting, and the back and forth of Andrew and Cameron on the bus built up so much anticipation and excitement. Was there a story line to this book? If there was I must've missed it. No suspsense, no drama, no heartache or emotion. Completely flat. Completely flat characters, completely flat story line. I also felt like Cameron's character changed. And not in the way you want a character to develop and grow. Like she was a completely different person in ways that didn't matter and didn't make sense.
Personally, and this may just be for me, but I find nothing sexy or interesting about a baby storyline. I kind of felel bad for someone who gets knocked up at 20 with no education, no job, no real life experiances and to a guy she just met. It just seems kinda sad to me. Other than that, this was the same as the first book, but without any of the build up or excitement. So many parts seemed so rushed too and didn't allow them to develop, yet we spent 15 min on her talking about what presents she got at a baby shower. Yawn. The ending was SO RUSHED and made no sense why she dragged on so many scenes through the entirety of the book, but then she gets to the end, where they actually do something different, and..... completely races through it to a boring finish.
SPOILER
I think this could have been a REALLY interesting book if the writer focused the book on their international travels (without baby on board, yawn again). What a great folllow-up that could've been and how exciting to the reader to be taken to exotic new locations. I guess researching other cultures would have been too much work for her. And how about not everything goes perfectly in their life. How about they argue and fight at times, deal with jealousy, deal with finances, SOMETHING to create a little suspense. I know we read these books for fanatasy and escape from the realities of every day life, but I found myself so bored with their lives when everything was just perfect all the time. It's like when she gets "addicted" to pills.... for a week. I mean honestly, why even have that in there if she was gonna get totally over it, and no one was going to mention it in Chicago, and Andrews response is to put her in the car again? It was so wierd and made no sense and created no drame or excitement. She starts to build up to something a few times- the "drug" abuse, the depression (which by the way was completely dropped off the radar with no explanation), the oh so awful thing (give me a break) in FL, the headaches, and then in no time flat- oh just kidding everything is hunky dorey again. Weee!
And I also found myself not liking Andrew. His disdain for Natalie was ridiculous. I found him pompous and annoying and if I were dating a guy like that I would kick him to the curb. It wasn't a sexy possessiveness, it was a crazy stalker possessiveness. And an arrogance too that I never felt from him in the first book.
Read this book if you want to read the same story as before, but in a really boring way, and in a way that will all of a sudden rush through to the ending with no arc, no character development, and no suspense, this is for you. If you think babies, and giving birth and hot sexy love scenes that end with a baby crying are fulfilling for you, you'll enoy this book. If you thought you were getting the same Andrew and Cameron and excitement of the first book, just re-read that book again and don't bother with this one.

Awful
Any additional comments?
I absolutely loved the Edge of Never. This book was an awful "ending". It seemed like the characters grew more immature rather than growing up. And the girl who read for Cameron was no where near the girl who read in the first book. I'm not sure if the author had such success from the first book they hurriedly wrote a second, or what. But I was majorly disappointed. It took me nearly a month to force myself to listen to the whole thing. I usually can get through a book in a day & a half at work. Just awful.

The story line was so slow and unbelievable. Jumped over time with little detail.
Has The Edge of Always turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
What didn’t you like about Daniel May and Leslie Bellair ’s performance?
I liked the first narrator much better.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
There were a few story lines to keep me going. I only finished for closure. Terrible book. No point and unrealistic. He had half a million in the bank and she is cleaning rooms to cover a 50% discount on their room. Really?
Any additional comments?
Young youth - go to college. Vacationing around the country while working in bars sounds fun, but leads you no where. Work hard and play hard. Make your kids proud of you.

Negative Reviews? They Must be Crazy!
I almost didn't spend my credit on this book even though I loved the Edge of Never based on the strong negative reviews I read. But I am very glad I took the chance.
Although the change in narrator was disappointing, I got over it and I liked the chosen couple who narrate this story.
This was a lovely read as the story of Cam and Andrew continued.
I had a total couple crush the whole time and enjoyed the steamy scenes as well as the abundant emotional ones.
Well written and worth the time.

Change of Pace from The Edge of Never
Would you consider the audio edition of The Edge of Always to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the print version. I was hesitant to listen to this book after reading the reviews of others. I really liked Lauren Fortgang's performance, however, this book has a different feel to it and requires a different voice.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Edge of Always?
The night at the beach at the beginning of the road trip.
Which scene was your favorite?
I had two -- the wedding and the final scene that brings finality to the story.
Any additional comments?
I listened to another of Daniel May's performances and liked his voice, so gave this a try. He did a good job -- although the other book I listened to, his character was much older. The post-production of this needed some help -- there was a section that was repeated.

Sweet and Sexy
This is a continuation of Camryn and Andrew's romance. They have made the decision to change their destiny and life just keeps getting in the way. The events that happy are totally believable. You can see how it is so easy to get moving in the wrong direction. Andrew sees that Camryn is going down a bad path and if he is to save their relationship and Cam he needs to get them back to where they were on the road. This part of the story encompasses their journey and how they refuse to take the path 99% of couples take. This is a great romance novel that is sweet and just an easy listen. There is no over the top sex scenes or huge dramatic events but is not boring either. It is written a bit like S.C. Stephen books. I do like that that author chose to have a dual narration. She does change the female narrator but it works.

Andrew Parrish & Camryn MaryBeth Bennett
*****SPOILER ALERT*****
Audible review. Dual POV. Book 2 of 2. I enjoyed both narrators but the intro and finalé music drives me nuts. Trigger warnings: miscarriage just after 4 months, Andrew & Camryn are given an hallucinogenic drug while partying with people they didn't know & Andrew is sexually assaulted.
Andrew (25/26 DOB 21JAN) & Camryn (20/21 DOB 08DEC) spend time in TX while Andrew recovers after having his brain tumor removed, they travel after miscarrying their first daughter, get married in TX, buy a house, give birth to their healthy daughter: Lily Marybeth, and then travel with her until she begins school. The epilogue covers their daughter's high school graduation, more travel for Andrew & Camryn, all of the other relevant characters are mentioned to update their current lives, and Lily's intention to travel with her boyfriend is introduced as well as their future career paths.
