Would their son, BJ, who is alone and ill-prepared, be able to safely make it to their Kentucky strong hold from Illinois? Many questions and few answers.

This new world is filled with darkness, fear, and unpredictability. To survive, the McTateys and Tregors will need perseverance, adaptability, and most importantly, each other. They had all prepared for a catastrophic event, but would their skills and training be enough to unite the group and see them through this disaster?

More good info on preparedness

As a sequel to book 1 this book carries on providing more good information on potential preparedness strategies and the importance of finding likeminded people to band together with. These books also provide good preparedness item info. So you might want to get the hardcopies since you won't be able to listen to then if an EMP impacts you...

Thank You for inlighting us on what could happen. Iam with you not if but when! I listened all the way through and now started them over again. So much information!
The narrator did an outstanding job! Kept me interested the whole way through.
I hope you have more books like this out there.

Even better

After briefly reacquainting the reader with with what happened and who's where, we meet the rest of the gang. We arrive right where the first one left off, and are treated to suspense, frustration, and a final payoff. I'm hoping a third book is in the works.

I couldn't stop listening!

I've been a 'prepper' since pre-Y2K and I thought I was in pretty good shape, but after listening to the E.M.P. Chronicles I can see I still have a long way to go! The author clearly has a strong understanding of just about every aspect of survival during a 'grid-down' crisis. He's thought of everything and includes a great survival guide wrapped up in a gripping SHTF story! Whether you're into prepping or you just want a thrilling story to read I highly recommend this book!

Just so/so

I couldn’t keep up with all the characters. The story is not so thrilling. Main characters just not interesting.
