“I want many things from you, wife. Many… unspeakable, unholy things. Things that will make you forget your name.”

Duke Edwin needs a mother for his wild twin daughters—fast. So when his bride vanishes on their wedding day, he demands her sister instead.

Forever in her sister’s shadow, Lady Christine has always been second best. And now, she’s bound to a man who swore never to love again.

Her husband makes it clear: their marriage is in name only. Yet Edwin’s touch sets her skin on fire. And when he finally claims her lips, Christine's lost—for she burns for the man who was never meant to be hers…

Great story, well written. I enjoyed it very much. Awful narrative, definitely not a fan!

Not a fan of AI narrator

The story is okay. Some major surprises at the beginning ... for the characters and for the plot. It ends in a similar note ... "surprise"! I'm not a huge fan of virtual voice; there should be more than can be done with it. All in all, it's an ok listen.

Any bride would do?

The narration is painful. The storyline is weak. The Duke is weak, unkind, and only treats her well at the end. I can’t stand the “obey me” nonsense. Why can’t someone write a novel with strong woman throughout the book!

Horrible story
