Loved it
I Loved it. I read this story in ebook when it came out and now after listening to it, I enjoyed it even more. Clueless and naive prince meets arrogant and bored dragon and sparks fly. This story has hot and steamy scenes, as well as a storyline with beautiful character development, it gets a bit dark at one point, but ends with well deserved and hard won HEA. Narrator did a good job, I loved his voice for Jade and he made the story a very enjoyable listening experience.

This book is an intense listen. It is not a dark book but it does involve a monster of a dragon and a very naive young man. Larkin is the second in line for the throne and he goes on a quest to rid his land of wyvern but what he finds is a dragon. Jade is a dragon and dragons live by different rules. Larkin soon learns this and his life is forever changed.
I enjoyed the way their story progresses and the bond that Larkin and Jade form. The two find that there may be more to their attraction than just lust. As the two find their way they must deal with the threat of Larkin’s older brother who will take the throne at any cost. It was nice to see the way the two fight and wotk together for what they deserve. The author weaves an interesting story that is full of emotions. Narrator TJ Clark does a good job of bringing these characters and this world to life and I was quickly lost in the story.

Enjoyable
I enjoyed this story. The narrator did a great job. I don't listen to a lot of fantasy books so this was new to me. The banter was definitely fun and the spice 🥵
