Not his best … not what you think it is going to be

I waited for this book to come out for months ! I love this author’s horror! Yes , it’s yucky but it’s great ! His last book The Queen was AMAZING and I have enjoyed all his books. This one was just ok, it was horror , but sorry I just expected more from this author. The story was good , and in the beginning I was so excited the first few chapters are amazing ! However , I knew how it was going to end and what was going to happen about 2/3 of the way through. It was worth the listen , but based on his past books I was so disappointed 😩! Every author has that one book that was just not great , to me this was that book .
